Intermittent A/C
And you really should have a pressure gauge to know the pressures on the high and low sides. Too much freon can have the opposite effect on an A/C system. Ron- 97GTS

Estimate my Vipers damage, accident.
Just my opinion but as a guy who deals with salvage titles from time to time, if you are looking to keep and drive the car and can fix it reasonably...do it. Side exhaust for my GTS
I'm converting my 97GTS to side exhaust and am looking for ideas since I won't have the rear muffler anymore. The cat will go bye bye. I'm thinking of leaving the resonator on and adding a Corsa or Borla on the side after the resonator. Any thoughts on this one way or another? I don't have huge...- 97GTS

Viper prices
The way I look at it, total # of GTSs produced was around 7k during the 7 year run (US). As popular as the Viper is and as exclusive as it is and as relevant as it STILL is, buy the damn thing now, and enjoy the hell out of it. A good chunk of them have been totaled so they are rarer still...- 97GTS

Opinions needed!
Lemme tell you something. As a car dealer in Florida, I can tell you 100% for sure that this dealer is B*^*s$@t. The only way he will take a loss on this car is at an auction. He will NEVER lose money on a retail deal. Especially on a B/W Viper. Now this car may be worth the money he is asking...- 97GTS

Thought this was cool
I saw that logo outline on my car a few weeks ago and at first it scared the $#@% out of me until I popped the hood and figured it out. Orange/White GTS

Why wasn't black color option available in 2001 & 2002?
Hey Dream On, I have the "only" black 97 because like you I had to have black and got this one needing paint/bodywork. Since I do paint and bodywork, it really didn't matter what color I painted it so guess what color? Ron- 97GTS

So close to buying a Viper this morning...
As far as resale value goes, pretty much ALL of them are poor right now. Depends on what you want and how much you can spend. I personally wanted a black GTS. Couldn't find one that I liked for the price that I liked. Found a red one that got sideways off of the road and had to have some body...- 97GTS

You and me both, Dave. I have a black GTS and it WILL have a wing on it eventually. Just like the way it looks on a black car. Personal preference. Me, I don't need any more than 450 under the hood. Washed titles
Check AutoCheck also. Here in Florida, if the car has been run through an auction like Manheim and they find frame/flood/unibody, they will report it to AutoCheck. Ron- 97GTS
