    Engine Misfire - troubleshooting help

    I took my MSD's off because I had misfires, replaced with factory wires and the issue was solved. I have AB's wires on my new car, and would not think of using anything but AB's moving forward.

    The overlap in the 96-99 was 6 degrees more than the creampuff cam also. That, along with the lifters, killed our lopey, musclecar idle:mad:.

    Creampuff-No cam lope

    I forgot to mention that I have T&D's also!! The idle speed is right where it should be. I have a fidanza flywheel, which in theory should make it a little lopier because of the reduced mass in the flywheel. Its smooth as butter though.

    Jason, Do you have water/meth? I would think you have more HP in the car if so. With water/meth, you should be close to 660-670rwhp. Sounds great by the way. Tell that guy with the red Gen 1 Roe he needs to hit the dyno also! Anxious to see what it does. martyb
