My only point was that we should care about where the dues are spent, just as we should about our tax $$. I too have no problem with hard working folks earning their value. I have already paid dues for 2014, and at VOA. That's not a lot of money. I just wish all this negativity would go away.
I just had my Gen IV aligned with a "mild" track alignment. Front toe 0.1, front camber -1.2 and caster 6.5. Rear toe 0.1, rear camber -1.5. No caster in the rear.
Go to PartsRack and see a comparo on PS2s versus Super Sports. The Super Sports are harder compound (they last longer) but still hold up very well on the track. I just bought a new set from JonB last week.
Good article. Thanks for sharing. Every time I get out of my Viper I let out a sigh. To drive it means every ounce of my concentration is in tune with everything going on with the car and the surroundings. To drive it is a thrill, a rush. I was once told that I needed to accept being "just...
Bruce, thank you. That was a very good explanation. And yes, my instructors have been getting me to come in slower and out with power because of the torque of the Viper. Thanks again!
I experienced the throttle lift consequence the last time at TWS coming out of turn 12. I was fortunate to not spin (it's a fairly high speed exit). It seems second nature to lift (why production cars are designed with understeer perhaps), and requires experience to keep the foot in the...
Great post regarding the driving skill, etc.
As for winning - I enter bicycle and triathlon races knowing I won't win, because frankly, I'm not the fittest guy out there (and never will be since I have a real job). But the fact that I don't win means nothing. I do, however, compete...
Free2Go, I think they miss you over there...they look forward to your return in a week. And I like your poetry! But that just says I have no taste when it comes to poetry :)
Is your name Lance Armstrong? Being competitive doesn't mean FTW, I mean WTF?!?!?! Being competitive means embracing and enjoying the spirit of competition. Winning isn't everything, in fact, in life we often learn more from our failures than our successes. And don't forget, there is always...
Good comments on this thread. I have had so many people "share" the experience by asking me questions about it. People love the car. A guy last night while I was filling up asked me if the car was brand new. He said it shone like it had just come off the lot. He asked if I keep it that clean all...
I'm going to unplug this weekend. Driving to the Western Slope of Colorado in the Viper. People will be giving me the thumbs up, chicks screaming, horns honking and cameras flashing the whole way. Then I'm coming back and tracking it.
I love this car. My ears are deaf to the naysayers.
