My Observations about VCA - This is NOT Good

One big difference: I can receive good technical information from JonB on the VOA. Not so much here anymore.

My Observations about VCA - This is NOT Good

My only point was that we should care about where the dues are spent, just as we should about our tax $$. I too have no problem with hard working folks earning their value. I have already paid dues for 2014, and at VOA. That's not a lot of money. I just wish all this negativity would go away.

gen 3 convertible rear caster adjustment and spec

I just had my Gen IV aligned with a "mild" track alignment. Front toe 0.1, front camber -1.2 and caster 6.5. Rear toe 0.1, rear camber -1.5. No caster in the rear.

My Observations about VCA - This is NOT Good

Seriously? You should seek a career in politics. Who cares how they spend tax $$, as long as I'm getting my food stamps! Ridiculous!

Do you find yourselves always "dreaming" of other Vipers?

A Gen IV ACR, 96 B/W or this for sure:

What is the reflection in the door? PM sent. Nice car!

2008 Viper Acceleration - "like pullling an old man out of his chair" . . .

+1. I have the Mopar PCM and the lag is way better, but still not responsive like my C6 Z06. I like what George said about mods.

Just picked up a Viper (pics included)

Go to PartsRack and see a comparo on PS2s versus Super Sports. The Super Sports are harder compound (they last longer) but still hold up very well on the track. I just bought a new set from JonB last week.

pdv25 Viper vs Shelby and Zo6

I'm surprised the Vette hung so well.

    Gen 4 wanted

I owned a C6Z06 prior to my Gen IV. It was the best move I made to trade up to the Viper. You will NOT regret it. Welcome!

    My Viper Rant

Good article. Thanks for sharing. Every time I get out of my Viper I let out a sigh. To drive it means every ounce of my concentration is in tune with everything going on with the car and the surroundings. To drive it is a thrill, a rush. I was once told that I needed to accept being "just...

More good experience shared, thank you. I too will be installing a harness.

One racer's quote... "It's not a real car if you've not afraid of it".

Bruce, thank you. That was a very good explanation. And yes, my instructors have been getting me to come in slower and out with power because of the torque of the Viper. Thanks again!

One racer's quote... "It's not a real car if you've not afraid of it".

I experienced the throttle lift consequence the last time at TWS coming out of turn 12. I was fortunate to not spin (it's a fairly high speed exit). It seems second nature to lift (why production cars are designed with understeer perhaps), and requires experience to keep the foot in the...

One racer's quote... "It's not a real car if you've not afraid of it".

Great post regarding the driving skill, etc. As for winning - I enter bicycle and triathlon races knowing I won't win, because frankly, I'm not the fittest guy out there (and never will be since I have a real job). But the fact that I don't win means nothing. I do, however, compete...

I was banned from Viper Alley

Free2Go, I think they miss you over there...they look forward to your return in a week. And I like your poetry! But that just says I have no taste when it comes to poetry :)

Let's be real, what would it take? Only short answers please

Get rid of the visible bolts in the wheel wells. ACR like the GTS-R.

One racer's quote... "It's not a real car if you've not afraid of it".

Is your name Lance Armstrong? Being competitive doesn't mean FTW, I mean WTF?!?!?! Being competitive means embracing and enjoying the spirit of competition. Winning isn't everything, in fact, in life we often learn more from our failures than our successes. And don't forget, there is always...

    Gotta ask...

Good comments on this thread. I have had so many people "share" the experience by asking me questions about it. People love the car. A guy last night while I was filling up asked me if the car was brand new. He said it shone like it had just come off the lot. He asked if I keep it that clean all...

Please, stop bashing the gen v

I'm going to unplug this weekend. Driving to the Western Slope of Colorado in the Viper. People will be giving me the thumbs up, chicks screaming, horns honking and cameras flashing the whole way. Then I'm coming back and tracking it. I love this car. My ears are deaf to the naysayers.
