Can the fuel filter be changed on the SRT - if so, how often and where is it located? Is it in the fuel tank?
Also how often should the rear diff fluid be changed?
Thanks
power window \"clunk\"
When I roll my window down I hear a "clunk" right before it is fully rolled down....sounds like something is about to snap. Any ideas on what is causing this?
I have never put a gas stabilizer in my srt for winter storage. I do start it up about every 2 weeks during the winter and let it run up to temp. So is a fuel stabilizer still needed? If so, which brad is good.
Re: Front protection
I use a bra but only on the highway as that seems to be where all my damage occurs. I have never had any issue with the bra damaging the paint. I won't use the clear bra as I don't like the lines that you can see - but that's just my opinion, others swear by the clear bra.
same happened to me and the warranty provided me with a brand new tire - mind you I had 6,000 miles on he tires so I bought a new one for the other sie. Actually worked out to be a ggod deal for me given the mileage/wear on the tires!
Where were these "note takers" at all the VOI's, zone rendezvous etc?? I have always found Dodge to promote the use of the cars on the track.
I find the letters to your friends hard to believe - can you please post the letter here?
only installed new filters as the retailer at VOI confirmed that they would fit the stock system. K&N part # RC-5000.
Any opinions will be appreciated!
Just returned from VOI and purchased K&N filters for my Viper. I just put them on (did not take my car to VOI) and noticed that the K&N filters are about 1/2 the size of the stock air filters. Is this the way they are?? Or did they sell me the wrong filters?! Anyone have pics of theirs...
1. Lots of road rash behind my front tires - underneath so can't see it unless I get down and look under the car. SOLUTION - I don't look under the car!
2. No problems here regarding heat (nor have I heard of any)
3. I had a screw in my tire and Michelin replaced it free of charge.
That is right! I had my 03 tire replaced under warranty because of a screw - but I also paid to have the other rear tire replaced so that they would match as I had about 7000 miles on them. Not such a bad deal for a new set of rear tires!
One time only?? I have never heard the "one time rule".
As far as I know you have lost the speed rating and should replace the tire if you want to maintain any sort of speed rating... if you only plug and patch it will ALWAYS be in the back of your mind when you are at high speeds - or it may...
Re: What\'s the weather going to be like in Vegas?
will be MUCH nicer weather than we had at the last VOI in Vegas - I recall freezing my a$$ of at the track!
I paid less than the MSRP at the time which was about 128K - I paid about 114K
Now the MSRP in Canada on an 06 coupe is $99,900 and the covert is $98,400
They just dropped the price of new Vipers by about 30K in Canada....
They finally adjusted pricing so it is line with our Canadian dollar, and what you guys pay in the states for new Vipers. Only problem is that it also drops the value of my 03 SRT buy 30k...the way I see it!
GOOD? Dude - you're my hero! Although I did do a pretty good sell job myself to be able to attend my very 1st one this year! Not only had to sell the wife, but also had to sell the boss as it is the last week of the quarter p and we have an unwritten rule in place about no vactions that week...
