Thanks Rick!
Boulder is a bit left wing for me. Might be a C&C for Prius and Hybrid owners!
There is a pretty good show in Golden along Old Colfax. First Saturday of month, I believe. Very informal, lots of very interesting cars.
Darn! I was actually in town for a nice change and did not know about this...
Sadly, I'm scheduled to be away the Apr 11.
Is there a schedule somewhere? Possible to get on a notification list?
Thanks,
Joe
Maybe we can get Dan to do a Western swing! - just kidding Dan!
My car (08 SRTC) also had problems (similar but yet different, mine caused a problem from the start) with the iPod adapter and I got the same response from Dodge. Swapping / diagnostics have all been on my nickel and it's still...
We just installed RaceDeck in our garages. Sorta happy about it... Bought just after Thanksgiving to get a sale price as, unfortunately, no Viper discount was offered.
Don't really like the buckling in the sun, but the homeowners ***** if anyone leaves the garage doors open too long! How's...
Who is in charge? Jim Johnson is our chapter prez. There are days, however, I think maybe Shirley is really pulling the strings... Could not find a nicer guy!
Bob Cloutier also does a lot for the club.
My office (300 Union) is a short stones throw from your detail shop! I'll be sure...
During Ralph Gilles presentation, we saw a number of pictures / drawings of Viper concept cars. There was some mention made of - potentially - showing / hosting those here.
Any news on that front?
Is it just me or do the stripes on the red car look odd...
On my 08 GTS Blue / Silver stripe car, the stripes widen from the front of the car to the back. Not a huge amount, but definitely noticable - even from the nose of the car to the back of the hood...
Call me stupid... All I want is for the Album / Artist display to stay on when using the Ipod... Right now, the channel indicator takes over and appears to be in some seek mode.
Since I don't have Sirrus activated, maybe that's what it's searching, so I thought I'd activate that service -...
SSGViper, If you didn't see me (Blue/Silver stripes SRTC) must have been Jim. I'm pretty sure I saw stripes.
Mark - Just another reason you and Woodhouse are the GREATEST! I sent you a PM.
Thanks!
Joe
Very strange...
After sitting overnight, system worked correctly... It was a moderately hot (~95F) day and the car was parked outside.
Worked fine for several days (but car was always inside)...
Nav system died again today... At least it spit the DVD out, but still showed a read error...
Another solution is use the stock shifter but reduce the height of the stock shift knob by removing the rubber isolater. Mark at Woodhouse has posted about this before and did this on my car. Big improvement - in my opinion - and not a lot of money.
And won't spit it back out!
All I get now is a read error on the disc. Can't shove another one in and the system won't read or eject the disc that's in it now.
I know many PC CD/DVD devices have a mechanical "emergency eject" but I don't see one on the RB1. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Joe
Ummmm..... Yes....
As an owner of both, I'd have to say a stock GT definitely has the edge over a stock Gen II.
But there is no question both are fast!
I don't have the details of exactly how they widened the seat bottom and seat back AND still fit in the available space. Mark Jorgensen is often online and may want to chime in... Or you might want to contact him directly at Woodhouse.
I can say it is a big improvement and that you wouldn't...
Hello Jeff,
The ride quality is a real subjective thing... The Ford GT is a much more firm, but not harsh, incredibly stable ride - in my opinion - compared to a stock 08 SRTC. The GT feels incredibly precise and like it's absolutely glued to a set of rails. The SRTC - again, in my opinion...
I'm still discovering those things I like (most!) - and dislike (a few) - in my new 08 SRTC.
Like - Shift Arrow... Yellow indicator - in 1st, wait until it goes OUT before shifting. No need for a Skip-shift, just keep in it a little. And I just learned that same Shift Arrow goes Red at the...
