I think this car was owned by a Chicago area dealer until this past spring when it was sold on Ebay. I remember the guy selling it for the dealer knew very little about Vipers. Good luck.
OK....I bought a Infinity Basslink on Ebay and I think it will fit perfect in the back of my coupe. Here are the specs:
10" woofer and 10" passive radiator
Class D 200-watt amplifier
Wired volume control with 16-foot cable
Frequency response 20-120 Hz
Low-pass crossover variable from 50-120 Hz...
Gents: I am selling my 2003 with a Paxton and many extras....please see the classifieds. I have received many different pricing suggestions and I want to price the car so it sells. I would appreciate some honest opinions on what it is worth in today's market. Thanks for the feedback! DPViper
Thanks Viperfuntime. I don't know how I missed the write up. Please tell me how to figure which speaker wires to tap into. Did you leave the stock sub connected to the stock amp? Is there any way to power the sub without running the sub wire all the way to the battery? Thanks!
Thanks guys. I was hoping to put the Bazooka in the back of the coupe with quick disconnects so I could easily remove the sub and take my golf clubs . Using the existing sub leads would be much easier than trying to connect directly to the amp. Mad Max - have you connected a powered sub to...
I have replaced my door speakers and I am looking to add a powered sub in the back of my coupe. I've seen a number of units that have preamp and line level inputs and I am trying to figure out the easiest/best way to connect the sub to the system. I'd like to keep the stock head unit and amp...
I'm guessing you pushed the shifter between 1st and 3rd. The trans/shifter moves during hard acceleration. If you bent a fork in the trans you would have a hard time shifting. Many owners have purchased poly motor and trans mounts from Mark J at woodhouse for that very reason. Good luck.
I had a few bubbles. The water ones went away and the installer used a needle to remove air bubbles. You can"t see any marks were he used the needle. Good luck.
I am looking to purchase a reasonably priced, clean set of 10 spokes with tires. The rims need to be in good condition and the tires need to have some usable tread. Please send me a private message with info/photos if you are looking to sell. Thanks
I have an 03 vert with a Paxton/3.55/Motons and an 08 Coupe. With prices down, I'd buy a clean Gen 3 and ship it to Mark Jorgensen @ Woodhouse for "the treatment". For $60,000. or less you'll have a screamer. Good luck
I just lowered mine on my 08 and it is a big improvement. FYI - the installation instructions are terrible. You need to be an engineer to figure them out.
Wow, now I'm really confused..... From "I'm a happy camper" to "Just violent and bad" with the Corsa and high flows. I wish there was a place to hear all the different combinations (Corsa, high flow, secondary delete, stock cat back, etc) in person before deciding what to do on my 2008. Thanks
Joedud and mjf6175: You both should have your Corsa and Roe high flow cats installed on your 2008s by now.....tell us what you think of the setup. Thanks
Interesting. Dan at DC Performance posted - "If you use it with high flow cats then the car (in my opinion) is too loud. For a comparison, the Bellanger headers and side exhaust with high flow cats makes less noise than a Corsa with high flow cats..."
I'm eager to see what you think of the...
Great. Unfortunately I am not close enough to stop by. Please let us know what you think of the sound. Did Chuck say the high flow cats would sound better and increase HP? Did you consider removing the secondary cat and keeping the primary with the Corsa? Thanks
