    thanks Chad, I do not see them moving many vipers. I check their site weekly. I might stop by there when I am on vacation in July. I guess they don't need to do that customer service thing.

    so what does everyone seem to be using???

    I am confused. My understanding on Oil weights is depending on the climate you live in. I thought the first number 5W30 was for climates with colder temps like below 30 degrees and the second number 10W40 was for warmer temps. so if you live in a warm area you want 10W40 vs 5W30 in cold climates.

    If its for your wife, get the Vette. based on what you said about her driving abilities. If its for you, get the Viper. You can get a vette with an auto tranny, can't do that with a viper.

    I bought the "Added Care" for my Ram and had the rear end explode on me at 48,000 miles and Dodge honored it. $4000.00 to replace the entire rear end. cost me the deductable. I guess it depends on the dealership.

    As a future owner I say keep it in your garage and baby it. Nope, go out and enjoy it, you saved for it and have never put it in its power range? why did you buy it? Go out and have fun, reving it up to the redline is what I would expect a used car to of been through, thats what they build...

    Underdrive pulley... Worth it?

    Not a viper but I know for fact that a few of my f-body buddies did before and after dynos swapping out the underdrive pulley as the only change and they averaged between 3-5 rwhp. again not a viper but its a number from dyno pulls.
