Just a reminder to anyone who hasn't sent a payment for 2010 as yet. If your name is not on the cheque, please put it on the envelope or drop a business card in so I know who the payment belongs to! Thanks, all! Greg

    Shipping to Canada

I'd say the bigger issue is warranty. He's aware that he will not have one once the car lands up here? Shipping is straight forward, as mentioned above the shipper will handle all the required paperwork and simply collect when they drop it off. I know some have used: TFX International...

Stability Control and my 2009 SRT crash

Agreed. And.. Compare '97 F355 vs. '97 GTS, they both hold about 60 to 65% of orig. resale value.

    Anyone know this car?

It's sold. Let's just say it went for a heckuva lot less than that! As for top speed claims. Stay tuned, Bonneville is right around the time of VOI. Would still like to hear from someone who's got hands on experience with this car.

    GTS window regulator guide help!

Would like to know, as well. It's been bugging me that they're are both a bit slow to raise. Probably white lithium grease would work well.

    GTS Window Moldings

One example of Viper tax, plain and simple. Something you'll have to get used to sooner or later.

    Barrett Jackson -Viper

What they need to learn is how to close it properly! B-J sucks, anyway. It's all political, and has very little to do with reality. It's commonly held that it's the worst thing to have ever happened to the car hobby. It's who you know or who you bl@#, and priority is given to: 1) repeat...

    chargers fault..

I think they send you a certificate for you to redeem, that's the way I read it (?anyone?). Shipping would be $$$ but I don't see why they wouldn't if you paid 'em.

Nice! The good thing is when it's cold like that it will stay clean, too. You may need to explain "fender bergs" to our friends south of the border.

    Is $27.5 K for a 97' GTS a good deal?

Could be an indication that the last owner didn't take good care of it, or couldn't afford (at least) a new pair of rears. It's something to consider, but maybe not a deal breaker. I say, don't but the cheapest one you find, find the nicest one you can afford. The one owner car may be more money...

How Big a Job is a Battery Replacement on a GTS ?

+1 on that! Dealer bought me a new PDC/harness a few years ago, as thier "skilled tech." (so-called Viper certified) did exactly that. Don't bother with that stud, but I would remove the wheel, who needs the grief! See below for results... Note how the lug has turned against the plastic relay...

    Membership Renewal Time

It's that time of year, folks. As you may know, I've taken over as membership director/VP for our region, and am standing on the shoulders of the giant who was our past membership director Fred Kappler. There was an email from the pres. that went out today, if anyone has any questions please...
