Yes. There is a cable you are supposed to connect to the parking brake so it will only play DVDs while the p-brake is engaged. Just connect that cable to any source that is always ground. Not that I would EVER do such a thing. :smirk:
GM is not supercharging the Z06's 7.0 motor. They would never have the balls to do that.
The rumors are they are coming out with a new ZR-1, with a supercharged 6.2L motor making 600-650hp.

I love it...Vipers...
At least we have firmly established that wrapping any part of the exhaust system on a Viper is BAD idea. No smoking sidesills for me thank you. Sorry to hear about your problems ViperJon. "I think your car is on fire"....I'm sure that was a precious moment for you ;)
The owners that had the...
Not sure about that. I have a 96 issue of Motor Trend where a bone stock GTS did a standing mile at over 170.
Do agree though that one mile is no where near enough space. Need at least 3-5 miles and lots of runoff room to be "safe" if that word can even apply here.
After reading the posts with all the problems some are having with Random Tech cats (and the problems getting RT to replace cats under warranty), I'm wondering if Roe's would be a better choice given Sean's superb customer service reputation? Has anyone had similar problems with Roe's cats or...
Super nice with the orange LEDs! I have an AVIC N1, didnt even think you could change the LEDs. At least the stock blue LEDs match my seats and center console. I have the steering wheel control that I never installed if you're interested in it, pm me. Also would be interested in finding out how...
Very true. Fortunately for me, Dave had brought along a billet pulley, pump, and bracket that he was using for his VOI9 display at the DC Performance booth. Those are all in my car now.
Reminds me of the old Vette guys that used to get the ZR-1 badges put on the rear bumper. That made a little more sense than this...a Viper is bad-asp, ACR, R/T, GTS or SRT.
Dan, I cant begin to thank you and your shop enough for all the help you have given me over the years. From the pre-purchase inspection 4 years ago, to the recent 60K service and everything inbetween.
Just to give you guys out there an example of how awesome Dan and his techs are, last week...
POWER STEERING PULLEY: Stock PS pulleys are PLASTIC and will eventually break. Mine did after 55K miles at VOI9 (and I've heard some others did as well). Call Big Brake Dave (Oh Great One) and get yourself a shiny new billet one.
You need to carefully slide the carpet material out from underneath the vinyl on the back and sides. Take your time. I found it easier to start at the sides and work my way to the rear. The grilles will come off with the carpet. Speaker removal is easy after that, just screws.
1 - Get an extension (you can log onto the website on your ticket and get one 60-day extension easily)
2 - Go to court, if your friendly officer is there, plead guilty, say your sorry, ask the Judge for a reduction in the fine since this is your first ticket in years, and take traffic school...
Re: How can I sell my car safely? I\'m thinking about the payment..
As long as you are dealing with a Nigerian buyer who will send you a chasiers check for more than the sale amount then have you send back the difference Western Union, you are GOLDEN! :P
