    What are you basing that on? Not bashing you, but you said you have never used one, so why are you against using them? As long as its a random action buffer used properly, it should not cause swirl marks. I also bought a used GTS thankfully with minimal swirl marks but with some NASTY touch-up...

    Yep, mine was whining only while turning and under power. With the clutch in, no noise. Go get yourself a Unitrax before it grenades on you.

    Are you sure about that Steve? My understanding was that only wheels up to 97 were clear coated but I may be wrong.

    If you want to save some cash, DC Performance sells modified shifters that are better than stock for $80.
