    Trailer Tie Down Question

    Put the D rings in the floor at least 2 feet more than the length of the car, 3 feet is even better, gives you some distance to use the ratchet mechanism easier...get the j hooks that go into the frame and use good straps...cross all straps, gives cross protection if car bounces in the trailer

    why not put the money ( 1800 or 2000) in an investment account and IF you need Viper repairs, take it from your "other" pocket....my $.02 seems that when you don't have the money is when you need it !!?? IF you never use it, buy your kid a cheap car to drive to school ??!!

    I have felt that the car market has changed to paddle shifting (automatics) as an option, I thought only standard till I drove the, SLR, Ferrari and Lambo with the paddle shifters... also to help for convert lovers, put in T-tops on the coupe, if you don't want the outdoors, leave the tops...

    many of the dealers that ordered the car, put a "kicker" to the sticker of at least $25K to recoup their Chrysler payment, this turns off many tire-kickers as well...now dealers seem to want to bargain....those that want the first cars pay the premium of ownership...also time of the year does...

    I have used Classsic Car Carrier near Indpls, his name is Ed dalton, great car guy, 1-877-533-1897, maybe he is moving trailers that way ?? I would use enclosed over open, sometimes especially seems the open guys meet at truck stops and swap cars and make up their different loads...good luck !
