I too have been VERY happy with my Roe for all 3K miles or so with no issues. I also have the AB wires on my car and they work great.
Good luck in getting everything resolved. A well tuned roe car is a daily drivers dream.
Definitely the 99.
Since you want silver, silver was only available in 98 and 99. The 1999 models include 18" wheels, power mirrors, adjustable pedals, and a few other things i always forget :)
You may be experiencing something that i have had concerns about when i first took my car to PBJ to get it tuned. After the Roe was installed with the 8lb pulley i had installed a boost gauge in the car to monitor it. To my surprise i was only seeing ~6lbs of boost on the street with the 8lb...
Re: Maybe scam for Roe
For the cost difference i really think its worth buying a NEW kit from Roe (or one of the vendors). You will always find some screw, bracket, or item missing from a used kit and trying to locate what is missing can be a PAIN. Not to mention you will have to buy a crank...
the best burnout picture i've ever saw in a viper was Paolo's ultimate street car challenge event. I know there is one with a smoke screen a block long but here is an example...
When your back in town and make it to a VCA meeting you can hear mine. I have the OLD style borla which sounds a LOT better than the newer style, and i get NO drone either.
The Kuhmos V700's are VERY good on the street and hook very well and can take some rain as i've been it in a few times with no problems.
I got mine from Jon B
If your looking to get an ACR wheel refinished PERFECTLY in the same exact finish i highly suggest Transwheel. I had 2 of my ACR wheels refinished and repowdercoated and they are just like brand new and was only $150 per wheel. :D
Hey guys,
I've been considering getting some Gen III seats for my 99. How are the Gen III seats compared to the Gen II? Are they more comfortable?
Do you guys think they would look good in my car or be too busy on the inside with the grayish suede inserts on the seats?
Thanks!
the Borla is a lot deeper compared to the Corsa which tends to be higher pitched and raspy. i love my Borla and wouldnt put any other exhaust on my viper.
I have no cats and NO drone on my car, but then again i have the old style borla not the newer style.
