    I was with Vic when when visited the Saleen factory. I also have a lot of respect for the design and construction that went into the S7. However, the 2-3 gear lag is disappointing. As for the price, too expensive for me. But if I win the lotto, well maybe... :D Guibo, Did you say pics...

    As a new owner, I'm currently following proper break-in procedures for the first 1K miles. Also, changing the oil and filter regularly is very important, you'll find a lot of discussion just under 'oil and filter'. When I'm not driving the snake for a length of time, I disconnect the battery...

    Welcome and congrats on the new ride! I love the color/stripe combo's that came on the '96 RT's. As for mods: supercharging, turbos, NOS, exhaust upgrades...are all available. But don't forget, track sessions to get to know your car's handling is very important too. Have fun...

    Chrome should be just as easy to clean. But I've also seen bad chrome jobs on other cars where either the plating is too thin, bronze showing, or that it didn't stick too good on aluminum resulting in chips. Just something to think about when plating aluminum. You want flashy? How about 24K...

    You got it right Alex. Hot, and also wait 15-20 minutes after shutdown so that most of the oil will be at the bottom of the pan. The oil will still be hot.
