    Haven't ever seen white smoke on mine, only normal steam condensation at first startup. If oil was getting through the breather tubes, then I'd figure oil would be burning and hence, blue smoke. Had you had someone follow you behind to confirm this? I believe the rear muffler has "weep holes"...
