    Harmonic balancer loose

    Yesterday I noticed my bolt was loose too while I was playing around under there. How can you really tighten that bolt when the engine starts turning over every time you try. Anyways, I used the red loc-tite on it and tightened as much as I could.

    hood fender rubbing

    Its simply that the structure isn't ridgid enough for its size. On the XKE's the whole thing was steel and there was no problem. In those days their racing versions were made of aluminum. Dodge solved that problem with the SRT. I wouldn't worry about it. I like race cars.

    hood fender rubbing

    I have the same problem. You need two people. When I open the hood alone it twists and hooks on the opposite side. I have to give it a shove with my hip half way up. That's when I appreciate my old E-Type hood.

    Mine rubs at that spot too. Its worn away a bit on the corners, but its on the inside of the fender lip. I just brush some paint over it when it bothers me. Hey, its a race car.

    Re: Gallardo\'s exhaust note made me jealous. The consensus seems to be to lose the rear muffler. Aswell its just a matter of unbolting to hear what the new sound will be. I wasn't entirely comfortable with cutting through the side pipes anyway. Jerry.
