LOL thanks guys I had a great day. Got up at 7 and came and left the DMV about 8. I drove to Eatontown to checkout the new SRT coupe and Darren let me sit in it and everything. I have so much respect for the new coupe it's just one mean ride. The one I was in was the one Mashesh posted, black and silver.

I also got to see Darren's Ram SRT-10 and 340 6-pack cuda'. He started the cuda and that thing sounded so sweet. I also happened to see my friend Steve's viper in for service. That was a surprize all on it's own to see a car I've been in before and seeing it today.

Wait till you guys see my new electric guitar. It's like a copper red with flakes in the paint. Then I later went to Benihana for a great dinner. That place owns in the cooking biz.

Plum, I really want to. I'm going to Daytona in August to drive on the track. I'll have pics up soon.

Oh BTW...
NO RICE FOR THIS KID!!! :D

That Gen3 coupe looks badazz in black!

Congrats on your license!

I think most young kids go for the compact car scene primarily because they can't afford a Murcielago, or that type of high end car. I mean, who wouldn't want one if they had the means? So, young people typically take lower-cost cars and work on them a bit at a time, until they make it into something better and more exciting. Its always been this way, in my father's day it was the 39 Ford, "kids" used to hop them up and make them individual statements of personality. In that era, the rich people had Cords, Auburns and such, and never modified them. Modifying your Auburn (which could already do over 100 mph, fast for its time) would be unthinkable! Only the younger people, with their limited cash and everyday plain jane cars, wanted to mod their rides, whereas the wealthy already had their style, store bought from the showroom floor.

Same dichotomy, different era. Here's a toast to the shade tree mechanics! :usa:
