Tony,
You might want to think about rerouting your trip thru Cawker City Kansas so you can take in The Worlds Largest Ball of String. Don't try this if your on any medications or are weak of heart, it's pretty exciting!

If its the one I'm thinking of her name is Barbara and the picture that was related to that post is located in the snake pit under chick / Viper pics on page 1 about half way down. Is that her ????

Just put on in my gen 2 & used the MGW knob. It screwed right on and is lower than the stock knob. I think its the perfect height, shorter than stock but still tall enough to get the proper leverage for quick shifting. If you get the lever to short you can loose a lot of leverage and it can...
Just came back from a test drive after installing the Hurst / Mopar shifter. Wow ! What a difference! I had the MGW shift knob on the stock shifter which shortened the throw a lot but every once in a while in this car I would miss a gear. I never missed gears. I used to be the king of stick...
If you want when you're getting your windshield tinted you can have them leave a small rectangular space, the same size as your detector, untinted in the location that your radar detector sits behind. This usually looks better at the bottom of the windshield than in the middle.

mclean,
Hats off to you for the way you handled the "Can I take the Viper to the prom question?" You said yes with reasonable restrictions. He got to enjoy the Viper experiance and status and you got to be the worlds greatest big brother. Nice job!

Cherry Bombs? Are they still around? I put them on all my muscle cars in the 70's. With all the new technology & advancements in exhaust systems I think you might be able to find a better muffler than Cherry Bombs. I guess I'm really showing my age here!

Re: News: Tator\'s Dodge BBQ
No matter what date you pick in June there will always be other activities going on and people that wont be able to attend. Just pick a date and stick to it. People will just have to re arrange their priorities and make it to the Viper event !!

This doesn't sound like a good idea to me. An awful lot of Viper horror stories start out with a scenario just like this. I hope this works out OK for you.
