    Turns out it was the AEM, replaced Alt. and Speedo for nothing...well it was a good exercise in learning more about the Viper electrical system. Live and learn. :) Thanks to all that offerred help on this (especially JD).

    Paolo, Congrats...Side question: do you ead boost thru the AEM or Boost Controller. If you are using an alternate source, have you noticed that the AEM reads about 1.5lbs less than boost controller/guage?

    I have found that the stock pcm controls voltage regulation. Does it also interface with the speedometer and vehicle speed sensor.

    Found out battery was bad...replaced it, but it didn't fix the problem. By the way, before I replaced the battery, after replacing the alt., the AEM and the voltmeter read 12.5V. Turned off the car and the problem came back.
