    Gen II Viper vs. C5 ZO6 Corvette

    C5 Z06 = C6, horsepower wise. Stock 96+ Viper vs C5 Z06/C6 (6 spd) is going to be close. Remember the Chevy's are about 300 lbs or so lighter and I believe the gearing is little bit "better". Although, I can't say from experience because I modded both my cars from day 1. :D

    Sorry to hear about your issue...almost faced a similar one myself last year. I do have one question though on the conversion. Did Heffner have to alter the frame rail to fit the larger units (turbos)?

    Yeah, its freezing up on all parameters. J. Dell gave me a recommended fix. I am going to try it this week to see what happens.

    Jo, I'm going to go ahead and order the guages. I'll probably be doing the upgrade shortly thereafter. Would you mind if I gave you a call as I did the upgrade? SVS did the install and I'm not sure if I have the original AEM install manual. Btw, it says to remove the harness connector...

    I am currently runnig V1.11. After surfing the AEM boards and reading about some of the upgrade problems, I am a little aprehensive. Did any of you guys have to upgrade to Firmware V1.19? Did you encouonter any issues?

    wanted to go local to reduce down time. With Spring approaching, I didn't want to have wait 4-6 weeks. I just got the rims a couple of weeks ago and was looking at my options. If nothing local turns up, then they'll be going to California Chrome next winter.
