Turns out it is the inner parking brake. Seems like it's not even there any more... It did rough up the inside rotor a little bit. Enough to feel and see a different texture.
Would you guys think I need to have the rotor turned or would it be ok to put in a new pad and let it smooth itself...
I have the 09 exhaust on mine. No heat concerns w/out the crossover. I may be selling the 09 once my Borla arrives, hopefully later this week. PM me if interested.
I think this would have been the tipping point for me to take your car, except I already bought a vert. It should sell now though, great deal. Good luck!!
O most certainly! I am still working with the seller to try and have him box it. I've contacted Simms and we'll see where it goes. I'll keep everyone in the loop if I end up getting this exhaust for $100!!
Thanks Neal! Good luck with the rest of the parts. Seems you won't need it though, as those are some excellent prices!! Wish xmas wasn't coming up so I could throw more money your way!!
Take care,
Kyle
I recently won an ebay auction for a used borla exhaust. The seller is now going back on his listing and stating he will not ship the exhaust, even though I'm willing to pay for the shipping and the listing stated he would ship it at buyers expense. He's stating that needed to be arranged...
Would that be covered under warranty? Seems as though that wouldn't be "normal" wear and tear...
Would I be able to see this by just looking at it? Everything appears normal visually.
I need to take my car to Dodge tomorrow to get them to check a grinding noise coming from the rear, passenger side (more on this in another thread). I'm wondering which dealership fellow Viper owners take there car to here in San Antonio or the surrounding area.
I realize for performance...
Hey guys,
I just got my 04 vert not long ago and noticed the other day there is a fairly loud grinding noise coming from the rear passenger side of the car. The noise is not apparent at idle but can be heard when rolling at slow speeds, both in and out of gear. The grinding noise gets...
Congrats. That's a great feeling!!! I just did this last week. Except mine was a 12 hour drive to and from Tennessee to San Antonio. The drive up there was hard and the drive home, with it on a trailer behind my truck, was even harder. I wanted to take it off that trailer every second I...
Great information. Thanks guys. I'm actually talking to Jon B about picking a set of PS2's up. I just can't decide if I want to buy them now for the stock wheels or if I truly want aftermarket wheels which would mean holding out and getting wheels/tires at the same time...
Seems like a ton of fun. I noticed you have to purchase a membership and pay monthly dues. Is there a way you can just pay per visit? Not sure I'd use it enough to justify the cost...
