Dave666 I bought the Mightyvac that you posted about way back when and I love it, use it all the time and it's more than paid for itself. The only thing I don't have 100% faith in it is bleeding brakes. Since it's sucking air through the system you always get bubbles with it through the bleeder...
You could clay bar the paint, new air filters, plugs and wires. What's your battery situation? If your battery is four or five years old you may want to get a new one and while you're in there clean and repaint the battery tray.
Ditto the manual, I bought one on e bay when I bought the car. I'm in the process of replacing my regulator as we speak and the maual is fairly helpful.
By the way, not to hijack, but speaking of window regulators someone on these forums suggessted Window Regulators USA and they were great. I...
I've been looking for a front left latch for a gen II top, I know you said you have some rears but if you happen to see a front latch in the ol' junk drawer please shoot me a note.
Aaron,
Take your time, the right car is not necessarily the first one you see. Do your homework on it, there is lots of good information on these forums on what to look for. You'll know the car when you see it, if you ask nice local club members are usually willing to check them out for you...
Maybe I,m spoiled becase I live here but if you are coming only for the show I'd save your money. If you get bonus credit with the GF and or future inlaws and go to the show then probably not a bad investmnet.
The whole show is crowded on weekends. The prototypes are cool if you have the...
I agree with everybody's comments above, on the open road the car is very comfortable, stop and go traffic jams are not very much fun nor are construction zones when you're driving on uneven or broken pavement or worse yet if you have to drive on rumble strips for awhile. I drove mine home to...
Jeff's Falcon car is way out in the burbs.
Chrysler has Jefferson Assembly which builds Grand Cherokees and Durango's. GM builds Malibus and Volts at Detroit/Hamtramck Assebly although this plant is in two cities.
These are the only two plants in the city I can think of.
I read that too a couple years ago when I did mine. I checked in with the Wizard on it and he laughed at me for even asking. I re used mine and they work fine. As always pay attention to the torque specs,as I recall these are not very tight.
The colors are about the same here in southern Michigan right now, I think it's peaking soon in northern MI. The cool nights have the leafs looking good this year.
I had the hard top out to put it on but decided to put the toupee on at the lat moment, it's easier to get off in case we get that...
Bad day today, pulled the boat out of the water for the year, put the toupee and back window back on the RT10. At least I can drive the Viper for another month and a half or so.
I threw the tone wheel off my car last summer and got and ABS light, the code indicated a bad wheel speed sensor. I'm sure you would have gotten an ABS light and not an engine light for the wheel speed sensor.
I bought a used three piece top and was trying to fit it up today and I have a couple questions for those that have one of the early versions. This is going on gen II RT10
In addition to the three top sections the hardware I received is the rear mounting bracket which consisted of about an 18"...
