Question: Can the guy just log in with a new screen name of do a lot of people know him personally? If the latter man, that is rough. I almost feel sorry for him :)
Haha, good point :) Thanks for all the replies guys.
Question: By going all-out blower mode, isn't not just gas milege affected--but also generally streetability?
Is it not the case that lowing compression ratio generally decreases low RPM (non-boosed) HP and general responsiveness?

Thanks a ton guys.
As far as money to spend, I haven't really thought that through. I've got plenty of money to go all out, but I definately want to plan it out.
Viper X, I've always heard just what you are saying. If you want to totally maximize power to forced induction, you have to...
Plumcrazy, no hard-fast final goals. My thinking was to completely forge the engine and put on the best heads available (Strikers I believe they are from my reading on the forum). Then if I still feel I want more horsepower bolt on a supercharger (no TT--I really want tons of torque at low RPM...
OK, after doing some looking around the forums, and with the help from several posters, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with a Gen III vert and mod the hell out of it.
Here is my question. I am eventually going to pull the engine and go all forged. While I have it out, and since I'm going to...
Thanks all.
Are the engine internals essentially the same between Gen III and IV? Are they all forget or cast, or is it like the Gen IIs where there are some forged and some cast years?
Thanks, I looked at both links. Question. I saw this statement:
"Also consider what you plan to do with it. If you EVER may want 750+ horsepower, stick with 03-06. 08-09 cars are basically capped at a certain power level due to computer complexity & engine changes. Also, the price...
I was always under the impression that the differences between a Gen III and IV were pretty minor--engine tweaks mainly.
However, I've seen several on the forum talk about them almost as if they are radically different cars.
Can anyone give me a brief summary of what the differences are...
OK, sorry for so many newb questions, but I'm looking to buy a SRT-10 pretty darned soon :)
I am not really a huge vert guy, but I already have a Corvette Z06 hardtop, so I'm really leaning towards the vert so I can get some top-down action. I think the hard-tops they got for the verts look...
Just saw this off Dodge's website at

Has any Viper owner done a widebody rear end mod? I tend to see them a lot with Corvettes, but I haven't seen any Vipers with it.
Maybe that is just because the Vipers can already hold tires that are plenty meaty :)
Thanks!
I saw someone mention these in another thread. I've probably just not been paying attention, but I can't remember seeing one. Anyone have a pic handy?
Thanks!
What about the ACR makes it such an attention getter? Isn't the only difference from a regular coupe the wing and color? I guess it would be pretty easy to turn the regular coupe into an ACR look-alike?
How does the ACR wing look on a vert? :)
Just curious as to whether the coupes or verts get more looks and attention. I know they both get a ton but does anyone know from experience gets more?
My guess would be, from first to last,
1. Vert with top down
2. Coupe
3. Vert with top up
But that is just a WAG :)
Thanks!
