Dialing out understeer, with air pressure.
experienced frustrating understeer on silverstone track (not autocross) last week, when trying to power out of slower corners, with tyres hot (low 40degC /110F?). 295 Toyo R888s front, 335 Kumho V70s back... Inside edge of fronts were noticeably hotter after each run: camber too negative...- PS78

Pics showing 20" rear tire rub
which springs did you go for Dave? I'm rubbing on 345/30r19s, smaller offsets, with eibachs and higher damped oem shocks.... next move goto 180deg back off full stiff rear shocks (currently 360deg off full stiff) .... if no good then stiffer springs!- PS78

will try increasing the shock dampning to full stiff & .5 back.... then if not working, onto stiffer springs...- PS78

well eibachs on now (so total now 1" lowered - original caps back on) and front shocks set .5 turn back from full stiff, rears: 1 turn back not as much rubbing as before but still happens...- PS78

my 295/30r19s rub on full lock and i can't close the hood without turning the wheels. Have lowering caps and front offsets of 44mm- PS78

well....no?...just the 345/30r19s.... are the eibachs stiffer just to compensate for the 1" lowering result, or are they stiffer still to further resist chances of contact?- PS78

smaller apsect ratio? have been hunting for 335/25r19 (tyre wall= 84mm) or 345/25r19 (86) - don't seem to exist!...only 355/25r19 (89...still less than the 104 on the 345/30r19!) wonder if there's any significant additional clutch stress when fitted with the 355s.....?- PS78

19" Rears rub on arches.....before lowering springs...!
2002 RT/10 with 1/2" lowering caps Just changed to the new Forgeline GA3Rs with 345/30r19 PS2s and getting contact on the rear arch tops... Aiming to get stock shocks stiffened to 1.25 turns etc (as detailed elsewhere on VCA) but, with a set of eibach lowering springs eagerly awaiting fitment...- PS78

Just about to get a 19" set of Forgeline's newest wheel GA3R 12 spokes on my 02 RT - more photos soon... 21lb for the rear desperately wanted the original 5 lug, 10 spoke design, but it couldn't....wouldn't be configured for a 6 lug mount....- PS78

Nad, if you need to enjoy cruising in a stock viper anytime, i could be persuaded to swop for the afternoon - you know how much you now like the roofless version! Perhaps it's why you 2 never have enough space - you keep accumulating and can't let go! Cars, pooches,...hopefully just the one...- PS78
