Whats the fastest ET on street tires so far?
I'm sure Dan is looking for the quickest e/t with a modified viper on stock michelins, not a stock car. Nice run with Silver GTS on 580 towards Hayward
I can only think of 2 2000+ models badged "SS". The LS1 camaros can really run and considering this guy only lost a few car lengths, we can only hope its not the redneck nascar chevy.. Scott- Bullet488

Car and Driver super Tuner Shoot Out
DV = Double Venom = 66' Cobra Kit Car + Viper V10. I'm assuming the DVII has a worked motor that should make for a very impressive power/weight ratio. 600hp + <3000lbs. No Idea how you get this thing to hook up. V-10 in front and no weight over the tires. Anyway, I'm sure it's a blast...- Bullet488

Cool Video.. BUT.. I really doubt those were 1/4 mile numbers. On that messy excuse for a track and the attitude of that viper, no way it ran low 10's. Put that together with the viper barely touching 4th gear and hitting the brakes and something doesn't add up. Low 10's takes all of fourth and...- Bullet488

Burnout technique and issues
Mike, John gave good advice. A few more things to keep in mind. If the tires are too dry and the clutch released too slow, the car will lunge forward or tire hop. Be quick to get the RPM's up and "use" the brake only to keep the car from moving. Otherwise, it's easy to stall or push out...- Bullet488
