    Looking at a Viper....

    Welcome to the Viper club. Personally, I would look into a pre-03. I like the looks of the earlier cars as do many others on the boards. Whatever you do, be careful driving the first time. Going from a high-reving hp car to a low-end torque car with be like night and day.

    My AC airbox sucks...

    My AC airbox sucks hot air off the header after heat from the header melted through the airbox. Does anyone else have this problem and is there a good solution?

    Viper Totaled Today , PICs

    I spent a good part of yesterday afternoon changing my own oil (and cleaning the suspension and brakes) just because I am afraid something like this would happen if I took my car to the shop. Sorry for your loss. I agree with GaryC.

    The exhaust plate really saves the paint. Mine came from the painter, Fat Alberts, Phoenix, AZ. Most painters can make one for you too.

    Guys, Thanks for all the kind words. The paint is not a stock Viper red. The paint is Ferrari formula 1 red and the stripes are Audi casmir mica. You can see a real difference when parked next to a stock viper. As far as the details... 542ci Henry Velasco billet crank Oliver billet GTS-R CNC...
