I've never gotten pulled over. I have never put a license plate on any of my cars. I've been driving for 8 years in Texas now. I've always kind of worried about it though. I'm really glad to see the new law in effect!
I wonder how many Texas Viper owners visit this forum?
Yea I agree ↑! Do it right the first time. Also, go with the s&b's. I hade to shave the rubber on my K&N's to make them fit. Pain in the BUUTAAY.
I went with the tubes from Roe racing because I wanted red. It doesn't matter where you get them. Mopar has a bend in them so they fit more "naturally." I know some guys have even bought large radiator hose($25.00) and cut it to fit! Also, the Roe tubes are made of silicon and come in red...
Congrats on your new VIPER!!! I know you are excited. Great starter mods. This is subjective! But the RT looks better without a spoiler IMO. But it's not my viper. enjoy and be SAFE!
Re: 2005 Viper & Other Exotics Spotters Thread
I was driving through the Quarry Market in Alamo Heights a couple nights ago and saw a Yellow Lamborghini Murciealago parked at Tony Lamas and a red Modena parked in front of Heralds.
If you want to see some beautiful Lotus Elises, drive down...
Sorry for the ignorance!
What does the rt stand for in rt/10?
Road and Track???
Race Technology?
Way Off?
And, if I wanted to get a 100 hp gain from NO2. NO more. How much would it cost me? Where would I get it from? How much does it cost? Who installs it? Are there any major negatives...
I bought my Viper about a year ago. I was looking at a GTS. I found a couple I was interested in and almost bought one. But, I really prefered the rt/10 because of looks. Plus I love the option of going topless. I wanted windows because the rt/10 with windows and the double-bubble hard top...
I love Black when it's clean!!! The best color for sure! But I have to agree, it's a pain in the butt to have to clean. I have always had silver sports cars. They are very easy to clean-no water spots-dust is very hard to see-etc. I wash my BLACK Viper 4 or 5 times a month! It's garaged...
Just got my Viper back! Starts right up EVERYtime. I went ahead and also had my fuel hoses replaced with braded metal ones, looks great. If anyone is in the San Antonio area, Gonzaba Autoplex did a fantastic job on the hoses and replacing the Fuel Pump Module. So far they have done all my...
I know!!! This whole ordeal has been crazy! I tried to go a cheaper route but it ended up blowing up in my face. By the time this whole thing is done, I will have spent $2000! The $625.00 doesn't look so bad anymore!
Lesson learned: sometimes there are no short cuts!
I just keep...
I have a 1993 RT/10. I am replacing the fuel pump module because I am tired of my car not starting up right away. I already bought the assembly and will get it today by 12:00. My question is, why do you have to cut through the trunk to replace it. Why can't you just drop the tank? PLEASE...
How much do stock Gen 1 mufflers weigh? Anybody know? The stock cats weigh 14lbs each pretty heavy. I removed them for a 28lbweight reduction. I was thinking about putting a high flow muffler on and was curious if their would be a large weight reduction?
Thanks
