Great Driving Tony. If I could drive 1/2 as good as you, I'd be running 10.5's all day long :D
On a side note: Anyone have a 13k they can donate to the "Disturbed Power Fund" I can give a receipt and it could be tax deductable. It would be the PERFECT holiday gift...for me :D
Power:
Greg Good heads....the best mod on my Viper. I picked up 75rwhp from the heads alone without using some huge cam (crower stg 1 it's like a 708).
Show:
19/20 rims. They look perfect on Vipers.
Don,
I'm so sorry for what happened to you. You were the only WA VCA guy I have 110% respect for. I'm happy your ok, sorry for you loss. If you are ever in Orlando, give me a call and you can drive my ACR anytime. You helped me out tons as a Viper noob.
Respectfully,
Disturbed
The 08 Viper ACR is a track star period. It is and will be a legend. In 10 years it will still be the standard by what other production street cars are measured with at the track.
Dodge needs to get off it’s ass, and go break records at the “ring” The Viper will then get the respect it...
Stock vs Stock FGT will kick a GenI-II-III ass really bad. Now an 08 vs FGT...humm that would make for a good race(roll on) On the track, the 08 ACR would make the FGT feel some pain.
Mod for Mod, I'd take the 1585rwhp Twin Turbo Viper over the 1100rwhp FGT.
At the track, I doubt the ACR has to worry about the ZR-1. It's just in the 50-150mph races the ZR-1 will win.
Even my Viper might need another 50rwhp to make sure I stay ahead of the ZR-1
Any updates on this? I'm working on this AEM install on a N/A Viper and between funky O2 sensor readings and not really knowing what the base timming is, it's getting to be a real PITA.
What do you use for the O2's. The AEM O2 sensors suck...at best.
550rwhp....I make more than that N/A with a stock-ish cam. Vettes...are slow.
Trust me, once you get your hands on a good viper, you will never want to ride in a vette again. I did.
If your in Orlando, look me up. I'll take you for a spin in an ACR you will not forget.
It depends on the setup. 600rwhp and PS2 are GREAT for a Viper. We've got lots of grip. You can overpower the rear if you want or roll onto the throttle hook-up and be GONE!
I have a Split Sec(with software and cable) if you want it. How does $200 sound.
It's the thingy Doug likes to use.
I don't need it anymore because I upgraded to a AEM for my turbo system.
I'm sure alex was joking. Besides...heads are minor right???
I wouldn't consider myself a fair amount of track experience...I still can't 60ft better than 1.7's :D Maybe when I get some 1.5's in on these Kumho's :D
An ACR's 1100ft-lb rear springs SUCK for drag racing.
For you...
1st of all, CONGRATS ON THE WIN!!!!!!!!
2nd of all, we need to get more Vipers to this type of event. With the power and performance these cars have; vipers could crush most everything in it's way.
Send a TT Viper with a pair of 67’s set a LOW boost for the AutoX, then High Boost for...
