Artman, First thing... concidering this is an out of state
transaction you should at least call your DOMV to see if they can help you. You might be OK and not know it.
In either case I would not pay the state of Texas any tax's...
The seller should take care of this...
Here are two...
Re: HRE\'s
What ever you guys decide on... make sure that they are chromed... They are no fun having to polish these types of
wheels... way too much surface area to work with...
Good for me my two youngsters like to work on the viper and
that includes the wheels :-)
I think I can help with this... the seller by law has to surrender
the title within a 20 day period in Texas... this is to keep the
dealers from taking your money and putting it in their bank account
and drawing interest while the bank is holding the title...
I have a number at work that you...
Tony, I'd like to show up but Gail and I teach Scuba diving
during the Spring and Summer and well this Wednesday starts
our season... and its signup night for our first class.
But maybe next week... :-)j
Good luck with the matches
Wow, All the vipers here in Dallas have that special glow
to them ...
Just kidd'n... the glow is done in Photoshop, use the lasso
and draw a circle around the car. Now right click the mouse
and change the feather option to 50. Now cut and paste into
a clear background and that is what...
Well this Easter weekend in Dallas was just so fine on Sunday...
So the Snake feeling the warmth decided to slither around town
and the sun cooperated and a few pic's were taken and I finally
got an avatar of the Snake..
What a great Easter Weekend... it was a blast
Wow, I must have just bought the last one last week... I only
bought it because I got tired of the fob going off when I would
put it into my pocket. And it did fix that problem.
If I were you I'd try to get one off of Ebay... even if it
didn't work all your looking for is the case of the...
I'd have your dealer look into this... Mine goes into reverse fine. If your hearing rattling noise thats not good...
that noise could be your reverse gear grinding because its not
fully engaged.
To be sure though... just make sure you shift into reverse
with very deliberate movements...
If you turn the fan on to full you will feel the air come out.
I've even been told from a sales guy it was the woofer baffel
hole...
Anyway, Its there to cool your snake in that hot car...
Took mine to the dealer and handed him the blank and my key...
he came back about 5 minutes later, tossed me both keys and said
have a nice weekend and the key worked perfectly, first time...
I got the red one for my red car...
He indicated that the key was around $80 if bought there
so I...
Mine did the same thing until I charged the battery overnight.
The only thing I did to run the battery down was to leave the
lights on for about 15 minutes while wiping water off of it after
a wash.
Just had to give the ole battery a fresh " Full " charge...
But just in case, if I were you...
From my limited understanding there are two different versions
of the blue wires...
Those with and those without the heat shielding booties...
The ones with the booties look very serious and the ones
without the booties look like your standard blue wires with
grey end caps...
On your car...
Re: door don\'t stay open
Woops... almost forgot... as a great aid in helping with
this situation.
If you do decide to replace the hinge yourself...
Take masking tape and place several pieces across the door and
where it meets the body of the car ( 6 inch strips are fine )
Put them on...
Re: door don\'t stay open
Like all have said above.... you need to replace the door hinge...
They cost around $190 from the dealer and I hope you have the
proper tools to do it or its another $150 ~ $200 to have a dealer
install it, if its not under waranty.
If you do it yourself its not too...
There is a cam like surface that matches up to the spring plate
of the door hinge that should be greased or it will sooner or
later break the spring plate. I just put a small amount of
grease on the cam face and work the door back or forth a few
times to lube it all. I use the same grease...
Hey Marc, Now I think we have set the hook and your getting
reel'd in nice and slow...
We know you like the looks, the attention, the sound and
your already for some stripes...
Almost left off one item... you will want to get some
aftermarket wheels too.
See you Sunday... bring your...
I don't lease but I can tell you that I work with a lot of folks
here in Dallas that some of their income is " lease allowance "
That is, they get a salary and a perk.. the perk being a car
allowance. So lets say the allowance is $400 and they can lease
a Viper for $800. Whats wrong with out...
You're correct with the green pads... just don't forget to
clean the control arms during the install of your new green
pads
You wouldn't want to install the pads and still get the
wheels dirty from all the dust left on the arms....
