That sucks, I just dynoed 455rwhp and 490rwtq with just smooth tubes, headers, hi-flows and exhaust. That Venom 650 probably paid $30k for that package.
I have Forgelines as well and the offsets are a bit different than other aftermarket wheels causing the wheels to stick out a little bit more and flush with the fender. I have noticed this also when comparing mine to HRE's.
I just purchased and installed a set of the new plug wires that westcoastvipers sells and they look to be a good replacement but I've only driven arou8nd 100 miles so far. I also haven't noticed any noise as a result of these. See the supplier section for more info.
I'm glad I already have headers or I would be even more upset. I don't really care about retailers and dealers or what is normal in that side of the business. What really p!sses me off is the way a certain retailer handled the situation by making RMS and Viper23 look like crooks for his own...
Venom, do a search on polished valve covers. Polishing them is not going to work because they are magnesium. Looks good at first but over time they look crappy.

BadVenm,
I noticed from your avatar that your stripes continue down the verticle part of the very bottom of your front bumper. Seems strange that there are that many inconsistencies on the stripes on various model years. There was a thread earlier on this and it seemed very inconsistent.
Re: Les Schwab Just F----ed Up One of My HRE\'s!
If the inside marks aren't too bad, have them send all four back to HRE and have all of the inside barrels polished. It's only $50 a wheel through them so the total would be $200 and you would have nice polished barrels better than before.
Funny, my 97 stops right before the facia starts going down (bottom lip way under the facia). I have seen inconsistencies in photos here where the stripes continue all the way and always wondered if it was from repaint.
Re: Looking for pictures of Vipers with Forgeline VR1\'s ..
Ben Treynor has the same color and car as you with VR1's. Do a search and you will see what it looks like.
I agree Supra, I have never been a really big Vette fan (although I would like to have a new Z06 as a daily driver) but have always been a Viper fan. That is why I sold my Supra for the GTS. Although I like the Z06, I would never have traded the Supra for the Z06, seemed like a lateral move...
