Ok, How about this.
For you guys that have been up the Los Angeles Crest turns you know it's a road with alot of twists and turns. A brisk trek thru there and your doing anywhere from 30mph-70mph or more. My question is... driver skill being equal, can a Viper, stock or modified keep up with...

I don't have cats. That audio clip of the CC sounds very similar to mine. Dan Craggin at DC Performance is great. Very knowledgable and does great work.

I have the Mopar Race exhaust on my car. In fact. Dan (DC Performance) has worked on my car and he knows the sound. It is loud , but not too loud. It does drone though.
Re: Must have clear bra area\'s, or places you have gotten stone chips.
Make sure you take alook at a Viper that has 3M on its front. The first time I saw one , I thought the car had been keyed with a visible line going across the front. I just don't like the look. I'll take the chips.

Hi Steve
I reconize your user id from Club Cobra. I didn't post there much , but was an active reader for about 4 years. I also came from a Cobra replica and I'm on my second Viper.
Like the other posts have said, GenI is the rawest, Gen2 more refine then Gen3.
For the $40K range, for errands...
Finally took the Viper out for a long run today and have to agree with Valentine Viper on these points that he made
4. The throttle response is WAY better than before. The car jumps now when I give it the gas.
5. The engine revs MUCH quicker than before.
6. HP and torque feel much...
No , I don't. The mopar race exhaust to me sounds alittle "boaty" at idle but in the middle and high rpms really comes alive. Also, there is a drone at crusing that takes getting use to. I'll try this week to make a sound clip and post it.
