Want to start RICHMOND VIRGINIA section of the VCA...possible?

The crabfeast is a great event. We had 98 people there last year. I think it's likely to sell out this year. Unfortunately, the Fishermen's crab deck burt down recently. Sucks to have you business made of kindling... They are reubilding, but won't be ready by our original date. Gus has...

Want to start RICHMOND VIRGINIA section of the VCA...possible?

Patrick, I emphathize with you. There aren't that many events down there. The reality is that it's hard to host an event 100 miles away. Ron is doing a great job with the schedule. There is something almost every weekend. Most of the events he's having are hosted by members who put...

    cat "test pipe"

cat \"test pipe\" So, I think I'm going to try and put in a quick cat "test pipe" for "off-road use" in my '97 coupe. I have a Corsa 2.5" cat back system installed. I like it, but would like a little more noise. At the track. I don't have the cash right now to go for headers, but plan on...

    GAUGES and Interior Lighting

I was thinking that it would look cool to replace the red alarm LED with a blue one to match my blue coupe. Has anyone done this? Anyone know where to get a blue replacement?

    Viper Tech - Rivhmond, VA

It's not exactly richmond, but Oyster Point dodge has been very good to the VA/MD viper club. He's near the Virginia Beach area. Ask for David Julien.

Englishtown, who's going and were're ya staying?

Re: Englishtown, who\'s going and were\'re ya staying? Andrew, That depends what you want. I think we are going to have the whole place to ourselves on Friday. That should give more driving time. Saturday will have lots of spectators, and some great old mopars to see.

Headliner removal to hide my V1

Slaugherj, I can do it for your RT, but I'm NOT taking my top off for you. Asking to play with my knob is one thing, but that's just going too far.

Headliner removal to hide my V1

Thanks for the encouragement. It wasn't that bad. It turned out the only tricky part was that there are 24 screws, in 4 sizes. It's tough to keep them in the right spot. I routed the wire from the pocket to the back of the car, down one side, over to the middle, and up the center tunnel...

Headliner removal to hide my V1

I'm going to try and mount my V1 inside the pocket in the headliner. I realize that this will screen it a bit, and defeat laser detection, but I drive in VA and DC a bit where detectors are illegal. I plan on making the cord long enough to allow me to whip it out and stick it over the mirror...

    More MOMO Steering Wheels...(pics)

Re: More MOMO Steering Wheels... Sorry, I think that's actually their part number for the instructions. The last page of the document has a chart for what part number to get for each body type. The instructions are for all body types. I don't know what body type the Viper is. An example...

Re: More MOMO Steering Wheels... I have my passenger airbag dissabled so that I can take my kids in their child seat in the car safely. I bought a doohickey that plugs into the airbag harness and simulates the airbag so that the light doesn't go on. It's got a Chrysler part number. I think...

Englishtown, who's going and were're ya staying?

Re: Englishtown, who\'s going and were\'re ya staying? I'll be there. Ron, are you doing your usual caravan planning? I'm still not sure if I want to leave Thursday night, or really early Friday Morning.

Re: I\'m in trouble now. She just doesn\'t get it. Ben, that looks great. How dod you mount the glass on the motor so that it doesn't tip/slide? I can't really tell from the picture. Did you make that bracket, or is it part of engine? The etching looks good too.

Re: I\'m in trouble now. She just doesn\'t get it. I paid $256.78 on ebay, plus $55 to ship it. It came dissasembled in two boxes. I think total weigh of each was around 30lbs. It was packded in that blow in foam stuff. Anyway, the place is called P-Ayr. They make replica's of man...

I\'m in trouble now. She just doesn\'t get it. My wife gets all these things I call SUOs (Small Useless Object). She thinks this is a BFUO. I saw it on ebay, and had to get it. It's a full size plastic Viper V10 cast from a real engine. It's got threads everywhere a real engine has them...

Mopar Alantic Nationals Viper Turn Out!

It's actually pretty central. We have some people in South Western Virginia that could have over 10hrs to drive there. There's definitely a tradeoff between how far you have to drive, and how many zone events we'll be having. This place has great facilities, as well as having had this event 4...

Help - my stick is too long!

Tony, Why did you have to drill rivets to install a knob? I know that must be done to install the B&M, but know that you can do a shaft without doing that. Also, I have always like the way the blue wheel/brake/shift combo looked in the 97 roadsters, and want to do that with my blue 97...

Help - my stick is too long!

Re: Here is a picture of The MGW w/ B&M Another option is to just change the shaft between the shifter mechanism and the shift knob. The stock shaft is a limp rubber job. You know how rubber dampens the feel of thrusting your knob, right? (he started it) The shorter steel shafts do two...

Introduction / long distance car purchase

Louis, Save yourself a potentially wasted trip, and have someone local check the car out for you. Heffner's performance is pretty close to Cockeysville, MD. Maybe you could have the person bring the car there for a check? I think you will probably find a willing member near each of those...

I saw Jason Heffner's car with these, and it did look better lowered an inch. How hard are they to install? Do I have to have an alignment after they are installed?

Just got the report from the dealer. The writeup reads, "Tech found regulator bleeding down. Ordered Fuel pump." It will be replaced under warrantee. Guess I can go back to frequenting Taco Heck. (I know this is a family place, so I can't say Taco H3ll)
