    viper is stalling out

Was the car on a battery tender? Did you need to jump the battery to get started? If the battery runs low, it is my understanding that the car will run rough for a little while until the computer on board "learns" the correct settings again for proper engine/systems function.

    New Viper and brakes squeak...

Exactly right. EBC Green pads are not for the track. They do, however, make pads that are suited for racing. As far as longevity, even if they don't last half as long as stock pads I think not having to deal with the squeaks and dust is reason enough to use them.

    6 dollar interior upgrade...

Yep,I'll be sure to wear my "cup" while driving. P.S. The majority of eye injuries that occur from airbag deployment are from eyeglasses and sun glasses worn at the time of impact. Trust me, I spent enough time suturing them up in the O.R.

    6 dollar interior upgrade...

A while back some of us were discussing ways to jazz up the embossed emblem in the center of the steering wheel. Here is what I came up with. I got a lapel pin off of ebay (chrome plate and enamel). I ground off the pin from the back and adhered it to the steering wheel with some 3M automotive...

    Viper Office Chair

My wife got me one for Christmas. It's very nice and a real conversation piece. If $1400 isn't a major hit for you, it's a nice addition to your home or office.

Silver Viper Logos - Behind front wheel wells?

Anthony 98 GTS, The side louvres are from MetalCrafters. Painted and shipped were about $850. JonB probably gets them from MetalCrafters and seems to have them cheaper. Easily installed and well made.

Silver Viper Logos - Behind front wheel wells?

Got mine from JonB at PartsRack. Less expensive than the dealerships for certain. I put the chrome on my red RT/10. They look real nice.

    Precision mats/Snakeoyl mats--SAME??

I'm not getting the math here. Snake-Oyl mats are $275 for VCA members for the front pair and Performance is $239....I'm no math wiz but this seems to be a $36 difference. How are you guys getting $100 cheaper?

    Machine Polishing and Zaino Questions

The random orbital sold by Griott's is a Porter-Cable, I believe. Most pro detailers use a rotary machine to polish. These rotate in one direction at speeds up to 1800+ rpm's. If you are nor trained you can burn through your paint in no time. A random orbital polisher rotates at low speeds in...

    RT10 vs GTS

My RT/10 doesn't leak. That doesn't mean they all don't. As Robert DeNiro would say "I've heard stories". I think it comes down to this. If you are buying for mostly leisure, fun- around- town driving, go with the roadster. If you plan on doing a significant amount of track driving, then the GTS.
