Well i do see the amount of GTS available begining to get fewer and fewer. As they have gotten cheaper, a younger crowd is beginning to be able to afford them and so more are getting wrapped around telephone poles. :(
All i know is ill be hanging onto mine!
I wouldnt run these wheels at the track, i have a set of 96/97 gts wheels for that. The car obviously would see the spirited driving on the street but that rarely ever includes any hard launches
Im ok with giving up a little performance to just not have to get pissed off everytime i look at my wheels and its time for a polishing. That and maybe ill just add some meth to help make up for the lost performance lol
No with these its almost like they need to be polished once a month to get the shine back; i dont drive the car that much. I know with a chrome plating i can just wash it off and it will have that mirror finish much easier.
Love love love the wheels, just tired of the up keep of them
I have the sp600 ccw wheels and absolutly love them but they are such a pain to keep a good polish and shine on them! :(
Im thinking about taking them to either
a) get a very high polish and then a couple coats of clear coat
b) get them chrome dipped
Anyone have any experience with...
My window is off track and i found that one of the two brackets that guide it up (towards the back of the door), broke.... i need to find a replacement, anyone have a part number by chance?
Hmmm i like the writeup. My 3000gt is lowered so it sits right around 48" and the viper is about 48 inches as well so looking at 96"s...... Depending on how tall the the ramps themselves are...it seems like (if the garage door is adjusted) in theory it would work.
I think
HMMM well the other vehicle would most likely be mitsubishi 3000GT which is a fairly low car....in theory it seems it would work.
I would most likely have to redo my garage door to get the extra clearance (thers about a 19" of space between the top of the railing for the garage door and the...
Would love to have a lift for some of those more annoying under car work... problem is my garage is built into my house (next house will definetly be built to my liking), so i only have 10ft ceilings in there.
Anyone know if i could get a lift to use for the work/park another car below it?
