I mean, I would compare STOCK only vs STOCK. Not some modded car vs another modded car...

Your right. I'm one of the ones throwing out "Mod...

Viperholics,
I just read an article in some Porsche magazine about this car. It said the motor was a 3.8 Naturally Aspirated - 350 HP. Did this guy add the Turbo, or was the magazine wrong...
I've solved the problem by dumping another 100k+ into mine. That should actually raise the value by 10k or so! (at least according to AllState Insurance)...

Problem (if you want to call it that):
I'm a few weeks away from receiving my Doug Levin Super Stage "God-knows-what" engine, and I live in California (like Treynor). Doug originally told me to mix 4 gals of 104+ oct with my usual tank of 91 oct CA gas...
I don't want to drive to Sears Point...
I love my GEN-I RT/10, but also love the newer GEN-II. I'm more comfortable in a GEN-II (GTS) and there are so many more "goodies" out there for them, but I like the traditional style of the GEN-I RT/10s. It's a hard call as ALL Vipers are great cars.

Can you give us more details on that Porsche? Looks like an early 80's, gutted out for weight saving - with obviously a modified engine. I actually like the bug eyed Porsche's vs. the new...
I've got both...
Don't get me wrong, my Viper is my favorite car. However, I seem to have a hard time with both American and German 3.8L engines. My buddy has a 731hp 3.8L engine in his 911 that makes short order of my Viper on the track (see picture), and I had a 3.8L Buick GNX-TT that did...

I thought it was back at DLM getting a new sand-blasted pulley, and the like, to fix belt slippage. Does he have it back home yet, or...

A 1997 Blue/White GTS, completely stock. I had plans for it, but there are so many options to choose from now.
Hey, I could use a third Viper (especially that one). However, I need my '95 back from Doug first. He won't finish mine until your's is done. Any idea when that might be?? E-mail me a price for the Daytona and it's availability, along with anything you know about the finish date of the...
I love your GNs!
I had a GNX way back when, and I still think it gave the biggest rush when you stomped down on it (including most exotics!). I wish I still had it, now that I see all that is available for it (and what blown Vipers do in the Quarter)...
I'm curious?...
If your set-up is called "DLM Stage IV Pro" and my Viper (the one behind yours) is receiving even more injectors and other stuff, then what does that make mine ("DLM Stage V Omega+" ?). I can't wait! Doug knows my Viper is for show as well as drags, and apparently he's been...

Good Point!
I have lots of pictures at www.ViperProject.com . Look in "More Pictures" area. I don't know if they're good enough, as there are lots of really cool Vipers on the VCA site!

Don't let them bother you. I've had both. I prefer the RT/10 because no one comes up to that one and says "Hey, is that the new 'Z' car?...". The RT/10 looks and acts the way the Viper was originally designed. Most books on Vipers show the RT/10 on the cover, as it is the most recognizable...
I know that Doug puts his Customers first. He doesn't even have time to put his own Viper back together yet. I'm sure he'd love to go out and participate in various Events and drum-up business. That's always the funnest part! However, Doug knows his priorities and does the right thing. I...
