Rock chips....
I had A guy cut 3M's Xpel and apply it to all areas that could get chipped up from stones. He covered the inside painted areas of the wheel wells, behind the rear wheels, the entire length of the exhaust sills and even the door handles. He also applied it to the entire front of the car. How do you repair a damaged wheel??
Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. The guys cutting the grass outside of my office, spit a piece of metal out of one of their mowers and it hit my driver's front wheel. Just put on clearbra material to prevent side sill sandblasting (mit pics)
I believe he referred to it as Dupont Scotchgaurd. The backing on the film said Xpel. I am not sure of the thickness. I will find out.- Cleaver

I, also, recently had xpel put on my '03 srt10. I had a guy in Lancaster, PA install it, for lack of a better word. He used the factory pre cut on the bumper cover, hood, mirrors and headlights. I also wanted the sills covered. This guy did a rough template of the sills, took a picture of it...- Cleaver
