Had the hard starting problem with my 94 due to check valve in tank not holding. Installed the delay timer recommended by Tom&FL GoR many moons ago it works great! primes for about 6 seconds then the car starts right up. Thanks Tom
Highway 50 out of Carson City is great, very little traffic but not without Nevada Highway patrol not many curves, a couple of small passes and the rest is pretty straight Austin,Eureka and Ely are all pretty cool little towns. Ely is famous for there sporting girl houses. The National Hotel is...
I had an intake manifold leak that I could not detect with a can of carb cleaner. I finally took it to a shop that used a smoke machine, the leak showed immediately. The symptoms I had were a hunting idle and rpm's sticking at 1200 rpm when letting off the gas. It might be worth the smoke test...
MY fuel pump relay went out on my 1994 and a direct replacement fit is BWD part S4907 it shows as a starter relay but it works don't know if it would fit later models
I also have a 94 in good condition with 34000 miles. You will be better off trying to fix the top than then trying to replace it the last top I saw for sale was $2000. Watch the EBAY auctions to get an idea of prices I would like to get $24000 for my car if I wanted to sell it but they are...
does anybody know if you have to remove the front fascia to get to the recovery tank or can you remove the front inner fender to get to it methinks I got a leak
gentlemen thanks for all the ideas and encouragement to fix the problem I did re synch the throttle bodies and that did solve the problem I must have not pulled the right cable back fully enough the car is now running like an eight day Elgin watch
will recheck ignition cable and spark plugs I don't know if motor internals are stock when I bought the car was told work was done by Hennesy could be B.S. The changes that I can see are smooth tubes air filter and exhaust Plugs and wires are fairly new.
1994 RT 31,000 miles bucking on deceleration between 2000 and 3000 RPM approx. and at steady throttle at those RPMs. This is something new. Car never did it before and have had it for about 1 1/2 yrs. I just changed the fuel filter thinking it was not getting enough fuel. Not the answer. I have...
thanks for all the info I have gone with Versachem exhaust system joint and crack sealer. It is supposed to harden up, sounds like it would be very difficult to take apart again so the next step is a sawzall and some M&M headers.
just came back from muffler shop he would not be able to weld all the way around the pipes so he recommended flaring the male end a little and some type of sealant am heading to auto parts store
Camfab has a good point about being able to weld all around the slip joint fitting. Welding the tubes is the only way I can see to stop the exhaust leak. I was again testing the exhaust yesterday with my shop vac. I ran the vacuum then held a piece of paper against the slip joint and the paper...
the price does seem to high for the car. I have a 94 that's a fun car. I don't race it pretty much use it as a regular car. You do have to pick your days weather wise to use the car. I paid 24k the car is not perfect but neither was the the price Find a better Gen 1 have some fun learn...
my headers are leaking badly where they slip into the collector. A smoke machine was used to confirm this. Has anybody had success in curing this problem? I was thinking of welding the tubes by a muffler shop but if I ever had to remove the headers it would be a bear. Also I think the air leak...
while changing exhaust header gasket (due to leak) one of the upper bolt holes stripped. I took off the concave washer and it is catching a few threads but probably will not last. What are the fixes besides taking off the head and helicoil? Any ideas?
