    Right the one I am looking at is a '97 with 80k+ miles. I figured things like the clutch and maybe the AC would be a problem. How much does a clutch (ballpark) go for ?     97 Stock B\W 20k miles, looks to be in good condition went for $41k. I think this price range is right and it only had 2 bidders. As the 10 year mark hits the B\W vipers I think we will start seeing the ones that sell go at the low $40k prices and the introduction of some high $30k prices...

    Yeah as far as price goes, the Costco price is higher but includes shipping, mounting, lifetime rotation and balance as well as the wheel protection, so even though you can find them quite cheaper then what they charge which is $1494 + tax it does include all of those services above.

    How come on some of the 96\97 B\W GTS I see the badge lettering "Dodge Viper" in all white as opposed to the standard blue? Was getting white lettering an option or is it just a mod that some owners do?

    I looked in renting one as well in vegas and here where I live in NYC but turns out every place I called only rented the newer Gen Vipers and I want to ride\drive a Gen II GTS. :(

    Yeah I was thinking the same thing about the seats. Most cars come wrapped on the outside with some door foam guards...they don't come wrapped on the inside..
