Woodhouse Performance - New Wing/Splitter
The CC splitter is wider and sticks out farther by about 2" or so from the front of the car. My understanding is that causes more downforce. Also, the CC wing is 8"-10" wider. I've got Pilot Sport Cups on there now which are the same tires that come stock on the ACR. These tires are great for street and pretty decent on the track when compared to other street tires. Still, a set of slicks is much better.- fergy

I'm not sure. The extra HP they have isn't enough to make a significant difference. They need suspension, differential, and aero to fully exploit the car's potential. There are few 08s and ACRs on the track right now that I've seen.- fergy

You are correct. I was trying to be somewhat general when comparing a Miata to a stock Viper on a road course. Yes. I believe you believe that. My experience tells me otherwise. Based on what your signature says about your mods, you've done nothing to help your car make a turn; only go straght faster. I've passed many cars on a road track with 800 HP and most drivers are shocked or pissed. :)- fergy

200+ HP only helps on the straights. If I were drag racing, then you'd be correct. Road racing is much different. It's not about looks for me. It's about performance. The ACR splitter isn't quite as effective as the comp coupe splitter and the CC wing is about 10" wider. I run stock rotors and I have not reversed the position of the calipers. I run PFC 01s up front and PFC 97s in the back. 08 ACR Exhaust Recommendations After No-Go on Hennesey Unit
Do you have a dyno before/after the Belanger install on the same dyno? I have Bellanger on my '06. Granted, different car, different motor, but there's no way it added 70HP. Dyno would be the proof if somebody has it. Thanks!- fergy

I got mine yesterday, filled it at a local welding supply, and I've already set my pressures on all 4 canisters. It works great, simple to use, and now I can play with the pressures to get the best setting for the track. The kit, case, and setup looks nice and professional. Thanks!- fergy
