I have 275/30/19 fronts and the 335/30/20 rears in the PS2's. They definitely don't look like ****. The 335/30/20 really fills up the rear gap. I also have the CCW'w in a 20 x 12.5" so I could get the wider 3 1/2" lip in the back...
Re: Perception Vipers can\'t corner
On top of what Chuck said, you hear about so many Vipers getting wrecked going around a corner. People assume it's because the cars don't corner well when in fact it's because they have so much torque you have to ease off the gas when turning.
Let me know if you want to hook up some day for a drive. Maybe meet for a burger over at that new In-and-Out on Williams Field and the 202. Its only about 2 miles from my house.
That sounds like fun. In and Out burger is my favorite.
I don't know if the diagnosis is correct but I was quoted around the same for replacing the water pump. Supposedly it's about 4 hours of labor. Honestly though, these cars run hot and I wouldn't be surprised if it still ran hot after replacing the water pump. I'm definitely not an expert but if...
I'm a 5 spoke chrome wheel kind of guy. The 5 spokes always look tougher and more like a muscle car to me which is the look I like. Look at Synfull's pics he put up in a thread last week or in my photo gallery.
Re: Let\'s have a little contest!
You have every reason to be upset. It's not hard to believe that even a very qualified, reputable tuner could have a problem like this from time to time. What's hard to believe is that they feel it's OK to put you on the back burner after you have already paid...
I think black is the best color on any car but I am too anal and the dust and swirl marks drive me crazy. I spent half my life trying to keep my back Mustang looking good.

Yeah, I'm sure there are always more things to do but at 550 HP I don't really feel the need right now to do much more. I'm trying not to put more money into the car than I can get back out someday. I've done that a few times before. It feels nice being the one that got a car that someone else...
About what I thought I would get for response. Some likethem, some don't. I'm trying to figure out if I like them or not. I might take the blue ones off and put the light smoke ones on instead. I like the way the blue looks in normal light. The one picture I have where they look bright blue was...
I doubt it. They are not that noticeable or dark. I drove with the dark smoke tints on my Mustang for over a year and never got pulled over for that. They were too busy pulling me over for other things. (License plate cover, window tint, your car is nicer than mine etc.) lol

What do you guys think?
It's the lack of tire dressing that's making those tires look small. Just kidding. It does look like the gaps are big but I'm used to my 19" and 20" filling up the gap a little more.
OK, that's what I figured. I don't mind replacing it, but it's just such a small leak that I thought I might be able to get away with a cheap fix. Thanks for the advice.
I have a small coolant leak coming from my water pump seal. Was wondering if anyone had any info on the pros and cons of using a stop leak product. Thanks in advance.
If you need a great mechanic, Eddie Martin at Bill Luke Dodge is the best Viper tech in the area. Very knowledgeable and a fellow Viper owner too. Congrats on the car.
I see an average of 1 per week here in Phoenix. The weirdest time was when I saw my neighbor pull into his garage with a black/silver stripe 06' vert about 3 days after I got my 97' GTS. He traded in his Ferrari for it. When I asked him why, he said he remembered how much fun Vipers were when he...
Wow, now we can all justify all the crap we put on our cars to our wives. "Honey I'll need this to get out of a ticket someday". That's a great story. I had a cop that was doing a speed trap pull me over because he thought my window tint was too dark. After he checked it and realized it was...
