    04-06 SRT 10 interest

You only pay tax on the difference here in Florida as well - one reason why I've made my rounds to dealers asking if they'll handle the transaction (me selling my car to a private party), and in most cases no biggie and just a small $100-125 fee. I sold my Supra to a guy in TX and a Chevy...

    Captree 12/10

Nice pics and some extremely nice rides! You know what I find interesting about the Viper... You can park one next to a Z06 or FGT and it holds its own as a striking, modern execution of high performance American muscle. Yet, at the same time, you can compare it to "ol' school" classic...

    Interior Mods New Steering wheel

Nice, Vette Essentials does outstanding work - and I suppose for them, a wheel is a wheel. They had a loss in their family several months ago, but kept the business up and running - some really nice folks with a super work ethic. Good to know they're receptive to any custom work! ~DT

Any Ideas...The Dealership totalled My SRT10 Today

This just scares the hell out of me! I'm (very slowly) starting to shop SRT's as a very high probability candidate for my next ride, but yikes, this is the 2nd or 3rd incident like this I've read here in ~3 weeks. This is definitely one of the downsides of high(er) end domestics - dealing with...

    Tampa Area SRT wheel trade

FWIW (which is probably very little as I don't have my car yet :D ), but I would have definitely gone $1500 + 10-spoke/tires for 5-spoke/(equivalent)tires. I'm a huge fan of the SRT 5-spokers (in the various flavors, SRTC's, CHeads, etc.) Timing is everything I suppose, good luck! :2tu: DT

Bat's KW's Coilovers installed, black emblems too. (PICS and thoughts)!

Re: Bat\'s KW\'s Coilovers installed, black emblems too. (PICS and thoughts)! Very cool! Nice job on the before and after photo positioning too! It's unbelievable how much the ride height effects the look - the first side profile before/after doesn't even look like the same car. DT

    How much to paint dash?

Dang, that's outrageously cool with the matching stripes! :2tu: DT

    IForged or CCW ??

Howdy Folks! I've had IForged and CCW's (second set of CCW's actually, classics for track, SP500's for street) Here's the thing - if you've never dealt with cleanup/polishing on a 3-piece wheel (with exposed fasteners) it's sort of a PITA. The single piece CCW designs are +much+ easier to...

    0-100 MPH: SRT10 Coupe and Z06 - dyno sheet...

Re: 0-100 MPH: SRT10 Coupe and Z06 Howdy - I noticed you posted in a thread regarding a Paxton supercharger (saying yours wasn't experiencing the same technical issue as the thread starter's) - so I assume you're running a the same supercharger. Was enjoying the thread, and didn't want to...

    SRT's are not Photogenic

Re: SRT\'s are not Photogenic Howdy Folks! Interesting topic - we were down in Flager this past weekend - lots going on with the Jazz Fest - plenty of interesting rides out and about. Saw a nice 360 F-car, an *amazing* Porsche CGT (where do you park _that_?) Anyway, saw a red SRT and I'm...

    Major crash at Road America

Damn! What a major bummer - I'd rather see a new $1M exotic wrecked than those classic rides! Hope everyone walked away without any serious injuries! DT

    Vipers vs ZO6 General Concerns

Howdy! Well, they're providing a warranty - but I would assume they're not re-imbursed by DC (er, not through the conventional channels at least), I would catorgorize that as an aftermarket warranty, not unlike LPE or Callaway provides, or maybe more along the lines of a factory-tuner...

    Vipers vs ZO6 General Concerns

Howdy! Given the pretty high flow of the LS7 heads (reported to be 360I/214E), and the unbelievably mild OEM cam (for a 427ci motor), I suspect we'll see some 500-525rwhp cam only (with a reasonably stout cam), and 525-550[rwhp] cam, headers (1-7/8 - 2" primaries) and some tuning (maybe an...

    Vipers vs ZO6 General Concerns

The car that just put up an official Ring time of 7:43 :) Regardless of exclusivity, etc., etc., that's pretty damn impressive (the 2nd Gen runflats must be reasonably effective too!) Cheers! DT

    No Viper Coupe

This thread (and mosts of the posts) is from July/August of 2003 - ledfoot was commenting on the speculation from "back then" vs. what we know now (that there _is_ actually a Coupe headed for production, though without the HP bump that many suggested). Seeya - DT

WTB: SRT Tires (275/35-18, 345/30-19 Zero Pressures)

Thanks Skip! I'm going to drop by Torrie's shop tomorrow, check it out, and see what his tire availability schedule is, then I'll contact some people in this thread who were kind enough to respond (you included!). Cheers! DT

WTB: SRT Tires (275/35-18, 345/30-19 Zero Pressures)

Howdy Marc - That might work depending on price - need them as soon as something could be worked out. I might wait and see what Torrie comes up with on the rears since that's so unbelievably convenient (heck, he might even have a mounting machine right in his shop). Just trying to save a few...

WTB: SRT Tires (275/35-18, 345/30-19 Zero Pressures)

Howdy Paul! I'm looking for something a little more "nearly new" - defintely < 2K miles, maybe < 4K at the right price. Thanks for the offer :D DT

WTB: SRT Tires (275/35-18, 345/30-19 Zero Pressures)

Howdy Torrie! Wow, small world :) We're actually over in the Vilano/North Beach area about 2 miles north after you cross the intracoastal on A1A. That's amazing there's a dyno right in town (I've been going down to Orlando for years - especially during the non-stop tune-o-rama when I...

WTB: SRT Tires (275/35-18, 345/30-19 Zero Pressures)

Hey Dan! Thanks, those might be a touch on the high-side mileage wise, especially after shipping and whatnot, but I'll definitely "file" the offer and let you know. Thanks! DT

WTB: SRT Tires (275/35-18, 345/30-19 Zero Pressures)

Howdy! Looking for a set of (semi) used SRT tires vs. buying new. Something very low mileage, in the OEM Michelin Zero Pressures, (standard 18/19" fitment). Maybe someone has upgrade to 19's all around or 19/20's or the like, and has a set just gathering dust in the garage  FYI, I'm...

    SRT10 with V8 ?

That would be an idea if you need to scrub the V10 (even though that makes me a little queasy...) Though I wonder why you couldn't get good clean power out of the V10 with some forced induction - I would think you could trim the cam down slightly, add 4-5lbs of boost, and have 600HP? Maybe the...

so if the SRT-10 is a better car...

Janni - Quick side-bar: I'm looking at 03's, just haven't had time with the current work load to get my ducks-in-a-row and sell the Z06 (it has a bunch of mods so need to find the "right" buyer or part it out, both a little time consuming). However, I'll be on deck soon enough - I'm...

    New Paxton believer

Howdy! Sounds like a sweet setup! FYI, if you're going to calculate what number, 649 is the remaining 85% of, you figure it like this: 649/((100-15)/100) or 649/0.85 (vs. 649 x 1.15 which is adding 15% to 649, not figuring what number had a 15% loss). So instead of nearly 750 at the crank...

Future Viper Colors - We Need Your Help!

Howdy! Blue has been missing from the SRT, even though it was one of the first colors for the original Gen Vipers. I believe it's a good "standard" color for cars, and won't be as trendy as say, Yellow, or Orange. I'd also like to see factory stripes available again - this was one of the...
