advice on color change please!!!
If the only reason you want to sell is for a different paint job then bite the bullet and pay the 8k to change the paint. You're already familiar with your cars history, if your car is 97 w/4100 in perfect condition with only corsa and stereo then you aren't gonna want to chance getting another...- Kiaser

Overtemp, with a difference?
My guess is the fan not coming on or the water pump (isn't there a common problem with the water pumps on certain years). I was having the same problem a few weeks ago. I knew my fan worked because it would come on when I turned the car off (roe timer). It ended up being the sensor that takes...- Kiaser

Hyperactive coolant overflow?
I bet that's it, the spring is REALLY long on these caps and I'm sure it was bunching up inside the resevoir. I'll shorten that thing and try again. I've got Roe Radiator hoses with a bleeder valve, anyone got any helpful hints on how to burp the system using these (does car have to be on, do...- Kiaser

Hyperactive coolant overflow?
That's definitely something for me to try. I just installed a Roe Anode Radiator cap about two weeks ago. This problem just started yesterday, but I guess the cap could've given out? I've read somewhere else that somebody's Roe cap gave out so I'll try that. Oh, and to clarify, my car is a '94.- Kiaser

Hyperactive coolant overflow?
Took a 10 minute drive earlier today, after parking and coming back outside after an hour or so I noticed coolant all over the ground. Thanks for the lube, but I'm getting better! Called warranty services today, found out why the warranty hasn't been trasnferred. When you send in the warranty transfer form you can send a check with it or right down a credit card number and expiration date on it (and just fax the sheet in)...- Kiaser

Strange smell under acceleration
Sounds like either coolant or oil burning to me. I'm not sure but don't these Vipers burn a little oil when on hard throttle? I'd recommend getting someone in your car who knows what coolant smells like when it's burning, you may have a leak somewhere.- Kiaser

How Do I Get Rid Of The Swirls On My Car?
If you're friends with a Paint & Body shop guy you can have him remove all the wax and grime, then buff the clearcoat smooth. Buffing isn't something you can just up and do perfectly, it's an art.- Kiaser

When buying a VIPER unseen...
Word of advice, if you're serious enough to plop down the money for a Viper then you better be serious enough to fly out for a final inspection in person. Flying out costs money but the alternative could cost you thousands more if it's not what you expected. Out of the Vipers I looked at...- Kiaser

What kind of gears do you guys have or reccomend?
From 3.07's I've seen 3.45's, 3.55's, and 3.73's. My '94 has 3.45's and I don't think I'd change it one bit. When you take into consideration the torque curves on our big block 488's during straight line launching you can go lower on the ratio's as compared to other cars and get great...- Kiaser
