Is there any movement of your brake pedal when the clutch is applied? If there is , it could be the clutch/brake pedal assembly bushings are wearing/worn out. After a while the whole cage assy is toast....been there. Good luck!
Dealer parts department did the same song and dance with me over a slave cylinder. I said I'm at work and couldn't get it, but here is my cell #....5 minutes later and he told me it was in stock and a price! I said, sorry but I found it at a better price through the VCA!
Bought mine from Big O Tires here in northern CA for $70 dollars over tire rack would have been. Don't forget to factor in tax shipping and mount and balance....recycle fee...pain and suffering when the wrong tires show up....
I changed the clutch,slave,master,and found that the pedal assy bushings wore out, then tore up the bracket causing the clutch pedal to hit the floorboard before engaging the clutch.......all fixed now, me happy!
