    As far warranty goes the car has dodge max-care(basic ran out in Jan), but I dont think it covers soft trim pieces like the console. Anyone had theirs replaced under max-care? I would guess it would depend on the dealer and I dont have a good one that deals with vipers in the area.

    Dang, sounds like they tried to rob you.I bought my 2nd key(exact copy of original)off of ebay for $25US and it cost $1 for a total of 26 US ,and you can buy the remote from ebay also for around 20. Then you just have to have someone program it for you.

    Creampuff question

    There are 2 main differences between the 96-99 and the 00-02 engines. 1. The Camshafts in 96-99 had a more aggressive profile than the 00-02. 2. The 00-02 engines had lighter cast pistons in them to try and recover the power that was lost with the milder cam. Hopes this helps.
