If you know him...
Is there a way to contact him and ask about e-mails that he may have receive as real consultations?? Or even orders??
I swear I would pee my pants laughing...
MMM Yeah... so much for this kid posting again on this forum.
Anyway, he should know better and have used an alias.
I am actually the Prince of Spain undercover.... ;-)
A few minutes to shift into reverse?? I know that it is hard with the short shifters, but from there to a "few minutes"...??
Since drifting you do not need to shift as fast as when you are racing, maybe returning to stock wouldn't be a bad idea.
Welcome to South Beach, I've seen your dad...
Scott, Vipers are nice but nothing beats the thrill of a motorcycle, I have both as well. I read your post and got the urge...I think I am going for a ride :-) Cheers!
You are talking to the king of ghetto rigs here!! from using chewing gum as electrical insulation, to using air conditioning ducting to make Ram-Air in my old Z28 (ran it from the bottom air dam)... so if it works, use it!!
Sorry I missed your question!
I use the ones from the dude in Tampa that also has superchargers,(Roe?)
But I do get a check engine light every once in a while (code PO138) that disappears by itself after 10 minutes. this happens about once a month.
I also think that I got robbed, paid like $...
-Break-in is B.S. you do not need one.
-Floor mats? well, buy some...
-Detector would be a must for me. I am tired of getting clipped in some of those redneck counties in the middle of nowhere that get all their revenue from a major artery that happens to run through them...
Re: Need o2 Sims.......Damn !
Glad to be of help!
You are right that if the 2nd cats fail there is no sensor to report it, that's what it's there for.
Cheers!
I also installed the cones a few months after the mufflers. There was a noticeable difference in sound, but not much. And there was no change in smell before or after the cones.
I do agree with you however that a catless car is way louder than one with cats... unbearable for most people...
Daniel, I consider you THE MOST knowledgeable guy on this board, but this time you are pissing out of the bowl!!
I am cat-less (04 SRT), and never smelled rotten eggs, never been unbearable in cross winds. In fact, never ever smelled the exhaust!!! and I am in Miami, my car is 80% of time...
DOGGY...
I do not undrestand what the problem is.
-Leave your current O2 sensor where it is.
-Go back on the wire as far up as you need to (to find healthy wire) and just splice the O2 sims in there.
-Then just put them away from the heat.
I get the idea you may be mistaken in thinking...
Doggy...
I see what you are saying, I've never seen anything like it!
We can start debating a million things here, but being the downstream O2 sensors, I'd just replace them with simulators and voila! Problem solved.
You cut the wires from the O2 sensors and run them to the sims, which of...
Anyone have CORSA w/out cats???
if my sound insulation does not work, I have to do something about my exhaust, too loud!!!
CROSSOVER PIPES:
Do you guys think if I added a small (2") X-over pipe from muffer to muffler it would help with the horrible droning I have?? I already have 32" M.FLOW...
Not that I've performed airflow bench tests on KNN and stock, but the KNN does seem to be better engineered for airflow. They "guarantee" some h.p. increase, Was it15hp??
Anyway, they is only so much you can to with a freaking air filter and and airbox... Slap on the KNN or whatever you want...
Patrick it is my guess that the O2 sensors failing are the upstream ones??? You cannot replace those with the sims... Sims are only to prevent idiot light from coming on when the cats are removed.
Cheers...
