That's just a disposable C4. No big loss.

The stock Viper jack is a steel version of that jack.

    Octane Booster

Torco. From what I understand, it's actually concentrated race fuel, rather than an octane booster. As far as the smell...I'd try to remove the carpet on that side and shampoo it out and also clean the floor underneath.

    NA Power

SVS did a stock bottom-end car with Stryker heads, Motec, etc and it made 600 rwhp. Neither of those 2 mods are cheap, though. My car has a 510 stroker with ported stock heads, custom cam, headers, exhaust, etc, etc. and it makes 600 rwhp and 615 rwtq on plain old 91 octane. I think there is...

OK Drag Racers! Riddle me this......

The long and short of it, is that you just aren't taking full advantage of all the available power. Generally, the first 1/8th mile will determine your ET and the second 1/8th will determine your trap speed. You need some slicks and once you start cutting low 1.5 or better 60' times, you'll...

Are you curious how Dex-Cool performs in a Viper?

Of course it looks new. It only has 5,000 miles of use on it.

Racing Solutions (RSI) Taking the Next Step

Tim made some good points. Just keep doing high-quality work with good customer service and all will be well. I would also imagine that more involvement on the forums would help out as well. Keep up the good work! -->Greg

Unitrax Lightweight Half Shafts - Anyone using them?

Sort of. The key to picking up performance with reducing weight on anthing that reciprocates is its diameter or moment of axis, (I believe that's the term, one of you physics guys can correct me). Basically, the larger the diameter of the mass, the greater the difference it makes. I had the...

    High Octane Gas?

Actually, my buddy just got his race gas delivered yesterday. He's going to be using Sunoco 109 unleaded. The fuel guy said that if that wasn't enough, he also has some new 114 and 120 unleaded! (This is for his Ford GT with a 3.3L Whipple with lots of boost.) My car has an 11:1 510 stroker...

Around how much mileage can you put on a v-10 engine?

I think that they should go well over 100k miles with ease. I think the only wear item in the engine would be timing chain stretch. It's a low-compression engine that doesn't spin very fast at all. Just keep up on regular maintenance and it should live forever.

Is radiator stop leak bad for your car?

That stuff is designed to fill little holes and to keep coolant from passign through them. Guess what your entire radiator is full of? Replace the water pump.

Paxton vs Roe vs Twin Turbo

No, the turbo's spool and hit full boost usually at a lower rpm than centrifugals, if they're sized properly. You could have full boost by 1500-2000 rpm or so with a properly sized turbo setup. Centrifuglas are rpm dependant.

If you're driving on the street, you have to get the R6.

Why would my Viper LOSE 80-110 Horsepower coming from Florida to Ohio?

Does the car feel like it's down 100 hp? That much power should be easily missed. If it feels basically the same, it could be just that different dyno's were used on different days. Make sure they are both set for "SAE" correction.

Paxton vs Roe vs Twin Turbo

Power under the curve. A centrifugal car may make more peak power, but a roots or screw car will make more average power. So, it's very possible for a "700 rwhp car" to lose a race to a "600 rwhp car."

19 inch BFG Drag Radials (Not happening)

The autocross tires are designed for just that, short little bursts of racing without extended run time and heat build-up. The R6's, roadrace, are built to handle extended driving, etc. If you were to run an "A6" on the street, it would probably blister up and fall apart. (A good friend of...

    N/A 10 second passes....

The high-points are a 510 stroker engine, heads, exhaust, gears, etc. etc. I run it on slicks. In the street, I run Hoosier R6's, 345/30-19. Speedworld usually hooks up quite a bit better than Firebird. I think that the temperature was just a little too cool in the morning hours for the VHT...

    N/A 10 second passes....

There was a track day yesterday with the Scottsdale Exotic Car Club at one of our local tracks. The track wasn't hooking at all when we first got there and they had to reglue it a couple of times. My first pass I aborted the run because the tires just spun like I was on ice. The second...
