    k&N installed, disappointing outcome..

And there were also people that said they have gained 10-15 rwhp, but what the heck do they know?.. I will check the sensor..:)

    k&N installed, disappointing outcome..

Hello Bill. I am running the stock exhaust with the RT cats. Sounds little better with more growl, but nothing out of the ordinary. I am assuming that an OBDII is the device they use to check for the code?? Sorry, not too good with this kind of stuff.

    k&N installed, disappointing outcome..

Right. If the air temp sensor is bad, will it show right away on the code checking device?

    k&N installed, disappointing outcome..

Ron, I got the K&N from Jon at partrack. I ordered it about 1 week ago. The instructions never said anything in regards to disconnecting a battery, at all. I am going to take your advice and go to a dealer and have them do a code check for me. If the air temp is damaged, would that...

    k&N installed, disappointing outcome..

No ones balls are busted (except when my wife is around), Ron. I was just explaining that I drive my car when there is no snow on the ground, thats all. Yesterday during the day, it was sunny, so I took the car out. Today was horrible, so the car stayed in.;) Anyway, I don't have a code...

    k&N installed, disappointing outcome..

I definitely agree with Andy. I did not buy my Viper to look at it. Rather, I bought it to drive it. If there is no snow on the ground, the Viper is on the road being driven. Anyway, no, there is no code showing at all. So, I am assuming nothing is damaged in regards to the air temp sensor.

    k&N installed, disappointing outcome..

Well, kind of. I got my RT cats installed yesterday, picked up the car from the dealer after work, and drove it home. Everything was ok. Got home and installed my K&N intake system right away. Took the car out for a drive to see if I can tell a difference. Well, I sure did tell the...

My first real kill in a viper, Lamborgini Murcielago

A Murci weighs more than 3,400 lbs. More along the lines of 3,800 lbs. Try running the C6 Z06 from a 55+ mph when it is in 2nd gear, and let us know the outcome.

What will it take to beat a C6 Z06 in an SRT-10??

And it would take a better driver in a C5 Z06 to beat a SRT-10, yet we all know that driver for driver, the C5 Z06 wouldn't stand a chance. I should have metioned it, but I meant with equal drivers, car fo car.

What will it take to beat a C6 Z06 in an SRT-10??

I have seen on average 435-440 rwhp Where did you get 3310 lbs for the Viper? Lowest I have ever seen for the SRT is 3380. Lastly, tq really is irrelevant to roll on races. If it weren't, the Viper would smoke almost anything on the road. Why would a C6 Z run to 150 in 17.5 secs vs the...

What will it take to beat a C6 Z06 in an SRT-10??

My friend and I are here talking about the Z vs Viper, and here is the conclusion we came up with. Tell me what you guys think. Let us assume that the C6 Z06 has 450 rwhp (that is being conservative) and an SRT-10 has 440 rwhp. So, that means that: Z06) 3132 / 450 = 6.96 Viper) 3380 / 440 =...

    C6 Z06 vs. SRT-10...*Video*

You mean it would have cut from 3 cars to maybe 2 cars, and that is only if they would have shutdown right there and then. You realize how hard the Z was pulling up top? And the Viper isn't even stock. Don't get me wrong, I am a Viper owner, and I love Vipers, but I am going to give credit...

    C6 Z06 vs. SRT-10...*Video*

2 competent drivers, unlike the last vid we saw. Passenger in both cars, SRT has an exhaust, Z06 is bone stock. Unbelievable!! http://www.03svtcobra.net/Videos/06Z06Vs03ViperSRT10.wmv

Bought a used Viper, with an unpleasant surprise!!!!

Is there any way I am able to find out if the engine that is replaced is an Arrow rebuild or not? How can I tell? As far as dyno, my car did 437/475 stock, so notihng out of the ordinary

Bought a used Viper, with an unpleasant surprise!!!!

OK, here is the final word after intensive research. The D19 recalls apply to all cars that have a build date through January 31st, 2004. Since my car was built in December of 2003, it obviously needed to get the recall work done. Looking at the VIP history of the car, there is NO SHOWING...

Bought a used Viper, with an unpleasant surprise!!!!

Ron, I forgot to mention a very important thing. I spoke to a Dodge customer representative today that was able to go into some VIP system. I was told that my car was built in December of 2003. The recalls (D19) were done through January 31st, 2004. This means that the engine in this (my)...

Bought a used Viper, with an unpleasant surprise!!!!
