    Autoform rollbar & sidebar pictures

Yes, it contacted the outer portion of the seatback on both the driver and passenger seats. Definitely a high-wear area, and there really wasn't anything we could do about it, as the bar was pretty well sandwiched between the door panel and the seat. Is that the same problem you're having, MW?

    Beat by an SVT?

We install Vortech superchargers on two to three Mustangs a week, and the new 4.6s, especially the Cobras, respond fantastically to superchargers. We recently built up a '98 Cobra with a Vortech and an Aftercooler (air-to-water intercooler) that at the rear wheels made 520hp and 460ft/lb...

Dunno. The guy from PreChiller cold-called me a few times to come to the shop for a demo, but he never showed up. One can only assume the project's dead in the water...

Anyone have picture of blue plug wires installed?

The Mopar plug wires we use are the blue ones with the high-temp boots bonded to them. They're ultra-high quality with very low resistance and are standard equipment on our Gen II Lethal packages. For pricing, please email or call me directly.

    Belanger/HF cats/Corsa 3" Dyno #'s

Re: Belanger/HF cats/Corsa 3\" Dyno #\'s Cody, the conversion factor that's commonly used is 15%. Therefore, to convert rear-wheel dyno numbers to flywheel numbers, divide the rear-wheel numbers by .85. (Don't multiply by 1.15!) So, Dennis' numbers are as follows: Before APEX Lethal 500...

Is $1,500 for 00 wheels a good price?

I agree with Chuck; if they don't show any stress signs from racing, buy 'em! That's a good price.

    Belanger/HF cats/Corsa 3" Dyno #'s

Re: Belanger/HF cats/Corsa 3\" Dyno #\'s Dennis, you better add "APEX Lethal 500" to your signature! Creampuff? What creampuff?! Glad you're liking it so much. I agree about the sound of our combination--it's the best out there! Uh oh--I smell Lethal 600...or 650...or... See you soon...

    Best high flow cats?

Dean, you might pick up a few hp from the 2.5" cat-back, but it's mainly for sound. (We usually see a more significant increase with the Corsa 3" cat-back. We actually saw a 21hp jump on a '96 RT/10!) As for cats, we sell 2.5" or 3" high-flow cats that _each_ support a 360 cubic inch motor, so...

01 Creampuff Dyno Results (and a few questions)...

The curves look normal, but what really tells all is the air/fuel ratio. Since the dynos were done on a Dynojet, get the AFR printout and post that as well. Also, within the Dynojet software, you can see the weather conditions of the run by just right-clicking on the hp/torque graph, going to...

    Driveline loss %

There are SO many variables to take into account that it's really hard to put an exact number on it. However, if you use 15%, it should be somewhat close. Dynoing the engine first then dynoing on a chassis dyno would certainly give you the most accurate percentage, but it's really not practical...

    DIY Superchargers

The biggest issue with a DIY kit is the tuning. Every Viper has a different air/fuel ratio, especially from year-to-year. To do an all-encompassing computer tune is going to be very difficult. BTW--at this time, the projected cost on the Paxton kit is about $7k.

Broke my B&M shifter - need info

Mike, you're exactly correct about the welds on the B&M. A couple years ago, I had heard the older ones were failing, but we'd never had a problem with them. (I guess we were using the newer design.) I called B&M and spoke with one of their sales guys, and he fully admitted they had a...

    Rear O2 simms??

Awww...shucks! Thanks for the kind words, Paul! And to think you were skeptical that our Snake Boxes would work! Remember, everyone, that our Snake Boxes are plug-and-play. All you have to do is remove your rear O2 sensors, plug the holes using the supplied plugs (we even supply the allen...

    Suggestions For Airbox

We did a back-to-back dyno test on our Dynojet using most all of the airbox/air filter setups out there and found the K&N airbox to the be the _least_ effective. (It lost 5hp compared to the stock airbox w/ K&N filters!) Air likes the straightest path in and out of an engine, and the K&N cone...
