We have a Honda powersport store an I put in an order on one of these in 2005 and got ser # 0005 Its has 1100 miles on it.
This Fiat is a one owner. We used to be the Fiat dealer till 1985. It is all original...
Well ...I took everything apart and the Cat that is the problem is plugged. I took it off and shook it and it sounds like a bucket of bolts. The other one is fine....I will start to look now for an upgrade.. I want to stay away from welding though. Here are some pictures...The sills are on there...
Wow...thanks for the pics. Is the insulation something I can get throught the dealership or after market ? To install free flows, does the weld have to be cut on the stock cats ?
I will take some pics this weekend. I am going to take the cats off and replace with high flows....Is the exhaust a 2 1/2 or a 3 inch ? I see Belanger has a nice set but they are 3 inches.
Ok...so there are no screws or rivets at the ends then ?
Ok how do I figure out if its running too rich ????? How do I clean the paint ???
Thanks for the feed back guys.
Just got my 99 RT and I noticed a couple things.. I had to drive it home from the border and the drivers side rocker near the front at the opening was real hot and the Red paint was blackened. It looks like its baked in pretty good, but I heard of stuff that can be used to get it off the paint...
Apparently the tires have 5000 miles on it and the service records are coming. I've read stuff on the overflow bottle. What exactly should be done to that ?
I know about the fluids but any other weird things I should replace or check ?
Thx
Ok, I've gone through some older threads about maintenance and just have some questions to those who have been through this already. When my car arrives what should I be looking for and what should I do first ? I would rather get some input from owners other than mechanics if you know what I...
Try hooking up with CAA... They seem to be pretty good... Other than my Fiat, which is under antique Insurance, CAA was the cheapest for my Viper and my other cars....Don't waste your time with State Farm or Allstate......MAD Expensive.......
Just wondering.. just want to know if anyone has put Gen 3 or 4's rims on an RT 10 Gen 2 ? Any mods have to be done ? Any rubbing because of the size difference. Any advise would help..Thx :dunno:
