Great thread. Here's my take.
There are some people out there who are well off and money is not an issue. The only time I have had to sell my cars was when I needed to pay off college loans and when I purchased my house. I would never have sold them if I didn't need to.
That being said, I see...
That's how I verified mine was off. I still believe I have the stock gears in the car. Just can’t pin point what is causing the speedo to be off if the wheels are stock and the gears are as well.
Nice, Callaway! By the way don't feel bad about having to adjust the pedals. The day I brought mine home I drove the entire way back home with the steering wheel against my chest. I was too damn excited to realize that even though the seat was all the way to the rear I still had the option to...
Stock OEM wheels and spec tires. I WAS under the impression that I was buying a stock Viper I have the same issue. My speedometer reads approximately 10mph slower at 60mph than the actual speed. The lower the vehicles actual speed of travel the smaller the gap in incorrect reading.
Thanks!
The leather is solid, unlike the OEM seats with the perforated holes. The netting on the front of the seat cushion was replaced and matches with the original located above the arm rest.
Feel free to give Tony a call for any pricing inquires or just general questions. He is a real...
Your right it is disgusting. I love seeing you guys with these high mileage Vipers still running strong. I purchased mine last July with 805 miles. My intention was not to buy a garage queen but rather a low mileage, one owner car which was completely unmodified. I wanted to bring the car up and...
Congrats!
If I may, did your speedometer get thrown off on accuracy? My cars speedometer reads approximately 10mph slower at 60mph than the actual speed. The lower the vehicles actual speed of travel the smaller the gap in incorrect reading. Stock OEM wheels. I am wondering if the previous...
Just an update. I thought I would share some pics Tony sent me this morning of the completed seats. I am very pleased with how they came out and can’t wait to see them in person. You can tell from the pics that the leather sits nice and tight. I wanted the OEM look but better quality...
Grew up loving the style of the Viper from the first gen back in the early 90s. It really has a timeless body design. What finally got me wanting to own one was the 8.0 V10. I was tired of the 3.0 inline 6 and Q16 it needed in order to net nice numbers.
That's interesting. I will still think of Dodge when I hear Viper. Now if they eliminate the V10 in replacement for a V8, it will no longer be a Viper in my eyes.
Sal's Viper is perfection, plain and simply put. It's what made me leave the Supra world and enter the Viper's realm. Can't wait to see the six second pass on IRS!!!
