My thoughts,
I don't think a low mileage Viper is anything special. Why? Because there are so many low mileage Vipers out there.
The current demand for these cars is low and it doesn't help that GEN V Vipers are selling for lower then expected.
The sports car market is slowly coming back and...
D&V Autobody messed up my car on a detail job. They have a nice facility and work on some high end cars but their detail work is horrible. They did refund me my money and I ended up getting a true professional to correct their work and the car came out better then showroom.
As for the TB, no...
Stock 1999 GTS ACR
Started off by deleting the cats by installing the ROE cat delete. Sound was still a little too quiet for my taste (No raspy drone sound, just a little louder from stock). So I decided to remove the side mufflers. I got one ROE pipe off the muffler but the other one refuses...
Bringing this back from the dead to not only confirm that this unit does what its advertised to do, but also thank Luisv on the recommendation and install process.
I did everything the same and the sound quality it perfect. Anyone who is looking for MP3 connectivity while maintaining factory...
Obviously it is a weak component from the factory however what is the underlining cause of the power steering pump failing like that?
Did you install it yourself? How was the process?
Like many of you, my driver side is a tad bit higher then the passenger side. You can't tell unless your a Viper owner. Following the lines of the head lights, I can clearly see that my front bumper needs to be adjusted a little higher on the drivers side. Its such a small difference that I...
Doesn't look bad, lower it and that will make the car. I wanted to go with bronze on my black GTS but the company didn't offer that finish. Are those 19s?
99 is the best imo for reasons mentioned above and is why I purchased a 99 ACR, unless you need ABS, then go with 01-02. If you want to boost the car without rebuilding the motor(850whp or less), 99 and below.
Going to be removing the cats for straight pipes and decided to remove the rear muffler as well. Hoping this will hold me off until I save up for a TT system (it most likely won't). Looking for anyone interested in selling their Snake Oyl Rear Sub Assembly before I buy it new. I don't want to...
We had a couple hot days last summer (100+) that I drove the Viper in, I had AC on with no issues. Although I have to admit, most of the time I just roll the windows down.
Night shift is taking a beating on me so in hopes of staying awake.... Help me understand. I've owned my GEN II now for almost three years. I've taken it to a couple cars and coffee meets. I seem to run in to three types of people.
1. Those who hate Dodge/Chrysler products including the Viper...
1. 1,150 Miles
2. 1999 ACR
3. Purchased July 2011
4. 805 Miles
5. Live in Northern VA. I don't drive it in rain or snow. Drive it from April until snow comes. Weekends.
I've got a kid on the way and we have no camera other then the iPhone haha. 60D is awesome so far. I set the video settings to the optimal. It does everything well. Easy to use also.
Thanks for the info! The rear does sit a little higher due to the side wall being larger. These aren't for taking corners and hugging the apex. Not sure if he was expecting an all purpose tire with these as they are really made for the straightaways. The crackling noise was the ball joints?
